Brief History on RHA: From the invention of tanks to the Second World War, tank armour increased in thickness in order to resist the increasing size and power of anti-tank guns. A tank with sufficient RHA could resist the largest anti-tank guns then in use. RHA was in universal use during this period and the measure of the power of an anti-tank gun was what thickness of RHA it would penetrate. This measure of tank gun effectiveness has remained in use because it is a useful universal measure for the comparison of increased anti-tank gun effectiveness. Different types of armour, some of which do not use steel or even metals, have come into use but depth of penetration of RHA is still used to compare anti-tank weapon effectiveness. RHA was in common use until after World War II when other types of armour were being developed. A new generation of anti-tank rounds had come into use which did not use a heavy, tough, high-velocity projectile, to defeat steel armour but used an explosive charge called a shaped charge to negate the strengths of the steel. The strength, toughness and hardness of RHA was no longer protection against this threat.(Ref - Wikipedia)

Rogue Metric Fractional Plates - KGS is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fractional plates We all know what fractional plates are for, and we know Rogue quality and shipping is top notch. What I wanted to know is how accurate are the weights? According to my food scale in ounces; 16.0 16.0 12.0 11.9 7.9 7.9 4.0 4.0 Bear in mind my scale is not 'calibrated' and only reads to .X so the .9 could be as close as .99 oz. I would say the weights can't get much closer than that. Once again, well done Rogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are great for exercises that are humbling. These are great for when you are trying to increase lifts where you can't make big jumps on. I do Zydrunas Press because I work out in my apartment which has low ceilings and I find that these low weight increases are moving my Z press up since jumping up 5lbs is generally not an option since the Z press is a humbling exercise. I also find these plates useful when doing grip work with my Rogue Beam Bar. Doing static holds with the Beam Bar is quite humbling as well and these fractional plates help out there. If your on a shoe string budget with money being tight I wouldn't get these but if you don't have money issues than yeah get these to play around with since they do help out with lifts that you can't make big jumps on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They will last forever. Very Nice, great for when you cant jump up that whole 5 pounds on an exercise. Fits perfect on the bar, nice and snug. 4/5 because the powder finish is not completely covering all of the plates, purely cosmetic, not an issue enough to consider exchanging them. Only other complaint is they do not come with a bag at all. Considering you can get cheaper plates with a small bag to carry them in. I went with Rogue plates because they are made in the USA and I don't spending a few dollars more but a bag would be nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have ordered these long ago When 5lb jumps are too high, and you just want to increase by a pound or two these do the trick quite nicely. I'm in the 2.0 to 2.5lb range for jumps, but if I want to go as low as only increasing 0.5lb next workout, I can!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wrong colors, high price The colors are completely different than international standards. Increments of 1 are supposed to be green, 0.5 is supposed to be white, 0.25 is supposed to be red. You'll have to repaint these if you want to use them in competition or if you want to add these to use with standard color-coded metric plates you already own. $85 is a lot to pay for plates that are the wrong colors.
