Rogue Stainless Lat Bar

Designed and manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, the Rogue Stainless Steel Lat Bar comes standard with both versions of our Monster Lat Pulldown machine, but is also available here for separate purchase. Packaged with a carabiner, this precision-bent, 1.125" diameter bar is compatible with most Lat Pulldown units on the market, and offers a unique upgrade in quality, durability and grip vs. the competition.

The vast majority of lat bars in the industry—whether sold as part of a system or individually—are made cheaply overseas, with basic chrome plating. When developing our own Lat Pulldown machine, we decided to design a higher caliber of lat bar to go with it. We chose stainless steel across all components of the bar—something rarely seen in other models—and we handled all the manufacturing ourselves, with each bar individually cut, fully knurled, and bent by the experienced Rogue team.

The Stainless Lat Bar measures 48" across and includes a laser-cut Rogue “R” logo in the tab. All orders include (1) black carabiner.

Warning: Lat pulldown machines from different manufacturers will have different amounts of resistance when unloaded which may or may not balance the weight of the attachment. Therefore it is important that the attachment is always supported while changing the weight to prevent it from falling and causing injury.

Poor Quality Control
The poor quality control is sadly what I have come to expect from Rogue. Nearly my entire garage gym is from Rogue. My last four orders have had major flaws. (Bolt holes not matching up, legs different lengths) Not what you'd expect at this price point.
Quality control says this is acceptable

On balance, very good
A bit conflicted on this. Great knurling. Out of the box it’s a universe better than what you find in a commercial gym. BUT, all of the weight is bearing on the 3/8” piece of stainless that connects the bar to the cable. Since this part interface isn’t polished, mine started to get “notchy” after a couple of weeks. If you look at other designs this bar/ cable interface is much wider so the rotation will be smoother. I had to Polish this then reassemble. Works well now but not sure about LT.

Exceptional Quality
I have purchased 5 of these bars for a heavy use commercial setting and they are exceptionally well made. The knurled stainless bar feels great and is extremely durable. No flaked off chrome or rust spots like cheaper options. If you're looking for a higher quality lat bar you wont have to replace frequently, this is it.

Mostly Made In U.S.A.
This thing is built amazing and I would highly recommend but not all of it is made in the U.S.A. The collars are made in China. I contacted Rogue and they sent out a set made in the U.S.A. Honestly there isn’t anything wrong with the Chinese collars, it just caught me off guard when I saw it.

Great pull down bar
Love the quality worth the money 100%. The knurling makes for great grip and feels good. And with the knurling on most of the bar many options for hand placement.

Amazing Feel, Top Notch Quality
Is it overkill... Yes! But it feels amazing in your hands, perfectly balanced, great SS finish matches my other SS equipment. The only problem... it's going to be such a let down when I have to use a commercial gym / hotel gym lat bar while traveling. Rouge FTW!

Great workmanship, dangerous design.
Just got this hooked up to my Monster Lite Slinger with the 300 plates stack. If the pin is not on 30 lbs or you move the pin while this is attached you're in for a bad time. I've never used a lat pull-down bar that falls when you disconnect the pin, this one does. Yes it came with sticker saying support the bar when you move the pin, but muscle memory is a pain - so is getting hit with this bar. It should come with a support to rest the bar on after use, something like the Matador holder might work. I might build something because this is not only annoying to have to hold the bar when switching weight, but also extremely dangerous. A temporary solution I've found is to put a bolt through the 20lb plate, so 20, not 10, is the minimum weight. This prevents the bar from slamming down.
