Product Description

Transform your RM-6 Monster Rack with the Rogue FM-6 Twin Functional Trainer Add-On–the ultimate training solution in a compact footprint. The add-on features a dual weight stack design that nests into the back of your rack instead of behind it, saving you valuable gym space. The added weight stacks provide you with a vertically adjustable 2:1 functional trainer and a 1:1 lat pulldown and low row, all while maintaining the full functionality of your power rack.

INNOVATIVE PULLEY CONFIGURATION

The patent pending pulley configuration achieves a 2:1 ratio for the functional trainer and 1:1 for the lat pulldown and low row, using a dual weight source available as a 300LB weight stack. This configuration also allows the user to seamlessly move between the lat pulldown, low row, and trolleys without ever needing to reconfigure or attach/detach a carabiner. Independent weight sources allow the two front trolleys to be set independently, allowing for more versatility in multiple station training.

COMPAct Footprint

The compact footprint of the Rogue FM-6 Functional Trainer line has been further minimized. By positioning the weight sources on the side of the rack, the overall depth has been reduced, extending only 3.5” behind the back of the rack

OVERBUILT BY DESIGN

As with all Rogue products, the FM-6 Twin Functional Trainer Add-On is overbuilt for durability. Larger pulleys contribute to longer cable life, and the US-made Mil spec aircraft cable ensures exceptional longevity compared to imported alternatives. Shrouds are optional to enclose moving parts.

EFFORTLESS ADJUSTABILITY

Vertical adjustment of the trolleys is effortless thanks to four precision machined rollers and a counterweight. Swiveling pulleys guarantee the optimum angle for every movement. There is no need to reconfigure, whether you want to perform single or double arm movements with the trolley or want to use the pulldown or low row functionality, just grab and go.

BUILT ON THE RM-6 MONSTER RACK 2.0

The RM-6 is a fully customizable Monster Rack utilizing 3x3" 11-gauge steel tubing, over-sized 1" hardware, and a bolt-together design for easier portability and affordable shipping. The 2.0 version includes a wide spectrum of custom color options, laser-cut pin position numbers on the uprights and bottom crossmembers, and a keyhole pattern on the sides of each upright—creating compatibility with more add-ons and attachments.

Important: This rack must be bolted to the floor before use.

KEY FEATURES OF THE ROGUE FM-6 FUNCTIONAL TRAINER Add-on:

Power Rack/Functional Trainer/Lat Pulldown/Low Row in One

Maintain a fully functioning power rack while adding a 2:1 weight ratio functional trainer and 1:1 weight ratio lat pulldown/low row. With the addition of a second weight stack on the Rogue FM-6 Twin Functional Trainer, you have the ability for two users to work at the same time on the adjustable pulleys, performing completely different movements.

1:1 with standard attachments

Our pulley configuration allows the use of standard attachments for the lat pulldown and low row while providing 1:1 resistance. Many other products require specialized attachments with multiple attachment points to achieve 1:1 resistance.

FULLY FUNCTIONAL POWER RACK IN A CONSOLIDATED FOOTPRINT

Even with all the added capabilities, a fully functional power rack stands at the core. You can lift in the rack with multiple safety options as well as off the front of the rack. By building the weight stacks into the frame of the rack, the pulley system extends only 3.5” behind the rack maximizing your gym’s footprint.

Configure your Rack

Fully customize your Monster rack with the Rogue FM-6 Twin Functional Trainer Add-On by choosing everything from rack depth, down to your preferred hardware color and pulley type.

Doesn't get better than this
I have delivered and built almost every piece of equipment available in the fitness industry. After 10 years I have just about seen it all. Nothing beats Rogue's build quality and functionality in my opinion. Not to mention the outstanding customer service. I was eyeing this piece for a while and glad I bit the bullet. Truly an outstanding all in one gym. Aside from maybe a cable replacement 20 years down the road, I would say I'm set for life. Would give 6 stars if I could. If your looking for the final boss of home gym's, this is the one!

Good piece of equipment.
Rogue takes their products very seriously and it shows. It’s good unit. However, it’s a bolt together piece and so you can mot expect it to equal commercial pieces in terms of solidity. It functions well but the idea that it is over built is incorrect. It is built as it must be to perform as advertised and not more. I imagine to get a fully robust commercial grade piece you’d have to pay a lot more. Do not expect that from this piece. It’s good but not as overbuilt as I’d heard.

No complaints.
It’s definitely a very well built unit. Huge bolts and generally robust. It weighs a ton and once put in place, it’s not tipping or going anywhere. I bought the 80 inch version because of my low ceilings and can’t say I feel it’s been compromised. It’s pretty darn close to working out at a commercial gym with very smooth pulleys. Considering everything is bolted together and not welded, it feels pretty darn solid.

Ok overall.
Let’s start with the built, Rogue always is top notch h with the build. Built to last and will outlast me no questions about that. Colour, it was completely not what I thought. I ordered the satin clear and received a grey colour rack. Apparently it’s their version of satin clear but it’s no where close to be that. Price point, this is where it’s simply not worth it. 2.5 months after I purchased the prices drop by $1500. As a customer who works so hard to earn I was very excited to save up knowing that I will not find this piece on sale but I was so surprised to see that the price dropped so much. Over all it’s a good rack but there are also other options that are way cheaper and functions just as this.

The 90” Works on my 94” ceiling But it has a Flaw
First The Good, the 90” works on my 94” ceiling but barely cleared the ceiling when installing the pulley that slides down into the top of the weight stack. I did read the specs before buying so I knew I had 2” to work with, that’s with my rubber mats the rack sits on. The Bad, one of the peanut pulley cables rubs against a metal edge at rest, to be more clear when it’s not in use. In my case, I don’t think it’s enough to affect the cable, it’s more of an annoyance. But if it was in an environment that got more use, it could possibly compromise the integrity of the cable. There should not be any metal or metal edges that the cable could possibly rub on. I spent a lot of time thinking how they could make this better and instead of sending us a bunch of pieces to assemble for the top section, They should send us one piece which is preassembled that would attach in the same manner as a pull-up bar. By doing so they can eliminate all the extra pieces of metal in the center so that all the cables will stay away from the metal in any scenario, including user error. Furthermore, by sending us one piece, you could make it stronger and you could eliminate the need of giving us smaller bolts and steel to work with. I personally would prefer that you guys be consistent, give us all the same size 1” bolts, and use the same gauge steel that you use for everything else to attach to the rack. I do understand that there will be a slight weight penalty but that’s a small con considering all the benefits, including the time and stress you save us. Lastly, regarding your instructions and your YouTube video. When your team is assembling, they are in a room with a high ceiling and they are lifting the pieces above the rack during the install, which in my case does not work and it created a lot of unnecessary stress. I’m sure there are a lot of people like me who when they purchased the rack they got the tallest one that will fit in their room. Also, the average room is about 8 feet tall so why not create a design and instructions for that scenario. For all the people like me who are in unable to lift it above the rack all you have to do is change the order. Install the left and right pulley sections first, inspect everything such as the tabs, and then install the center top piece for the pull down bar. It functions perfectly guys. Rogue if you don’t want people doing this, you should put a recommendation such as we recommend for the 90” that you have a 9 foot ceiling. I hope my review helps someone and Rogue I hope this encourages you guys to make some improvements. I will post a YouTube short of my Rogue home gym soon to help inspire some folks, I do like my set up and I am thankful.
