Like all Ohio Bars, the E-Coat model is fully machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio. It includes a 190,000 PSI tensile strength shaft, dual knurl marks (no center knurl), and bright zinc sleeves. The hybrid knurling pattern offers a firm but comfortable grip on both Powerlifts and Oly lifts, while a snap-ring design, quality U.S. steel, and bronze bushings help produce the perfect balance of rigidity and natural whip.

Rogue Machining and Assembly
Made with pride in Columbus, Ohio, the 20 KG Ohio Bar has been put to use for years in home gyms; high school, collegiate and pro training programs; CrossFit gyms; military bases . . . anywhere athletes are concerned with quality. Each 190,000 PSI tensile strength steel shaft is ground and polished prior to machining to ensure a better finish, and the dual knurl marks are carefully refined for a firm but non-abrasive grip. The snap ring design, bronze bushings, and quality U.S. steel help produce an ideal combination of the consistent “whip” needed for Oly lifts and the ample rigidity required for heavy powerlifting.

E-Coat Finish
The black electrocoat, or E-Coat shaft finish on this Ohio Bar is an electrically-applied paint coating noted for its excellent corrosion resistance, cost efficiency, and green benefits. It has been widely adopted by leading manufacturers for the finishing of auto parts, metal stampings, fasteners, lawn/garden & agricultural equipment, military equipment, and much more. E-Coat finishes stand up to water, sunlight, and household chemicals, and they are compliant with the environmental safety standards of the RoHS, OSHA and EPA.
F SCALE™
The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. Bars that have been treated with Rogue Work Hardening (RWH™) are designated by having an R in their F Rating™. For more information on F Scale™ click here.
OXIDATION RATE
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.
*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage, or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

If you are a true "powerlifter" and load 500+ lbs on a bar then get the Ohio Power Bar, otherwise this is the way to go! The knurling is EXACTLY what you want and offers plenty of grip even without chalk. Love that there is no center knurling and still grips just fine for back squats. I went with the black e-coat. You wont regret it. It has replaced my Ohio Power bar for good.

So far so good...
I build a power rack/ninja obstacle all together - came out amazing! I still need to add salmon ladder and ninja pegboard. Next was the equipment's. After a month of researching...i could have went for a cheaper barbell. However I went for the reliability and a true built! Four stars for now since I want to know the durability of the barbell. Stay tune for my next review with photos.

This bar will last
Don't let the rating fool you. I would give it a 4.5. It is a great bar overall. The grip feels good without tearing in your hands. It's incredibly rust resistant. I purchased the bar because I'm doing outdoor training in an environment that is frequently humid so I needed a bar that can last.
The downfall of the bar is if you are wearing a tank or shirtless and you are sweating, the bar will slip. That's why I didn't give it 4 stars. If you take the time to chalk your shoulders and chest if you are doing front squats or back squats then you should be good. If you wear a shirt then you don't have to worry about it #sunsoutgunsout.

Great Bar
I almost bought the Ohio Bar, but all I do is power lifting, strength conditioning. And out of all my equipment I’ve bought the power bar is by far my favorite. I’m older 56yo and I’ve been lifting since I was 15yo, I’ve never had a bar with this much deep knurling and I have complete control when I’m lifting.
