The IronMind Hub lets any athlete test and develop their pinch grip strength through this modern adaptation of a classic, highly specialized Strongman challenge.
Measuring 2-7/8” in diameter with a textured crinkle finish, the pinch gripper mimics the old-school center hub of a deep-dish 45 LB steel plate; the type “The Mighty Norseman” Karl Norberg used to lift up by the hub as a warm-up. In this case, you can simply hook up the 1 LB hub to any carabiner + chain or loading pin (sold separately), swapping out different plates to gradually build up your pinch grip strength.
If you manage 30 LBS, you’re doing alright; 50 LBS is excellent; 80 LBS and up is world class.
