Every 20KG Ohio Power Bar is precisely machined and assembled in Columbus, OH using US steel that is proven ideal for heavy powerlifting. We combine a 200,000 PSI tensile strength, low flexion shaft, IPF powerlifting knurl marks and our signature Ohio Power Bar knurling. The knurling is machined in a pattern that is deep and coarse, providing an ideal surface for heavy pulls without being sharp or abrasive. Additionally, it features a matching center knurl that adheres to your back when you need it most.
Note on Stainless Steel: Barbells made from raw steel are not plated and therefore marks from the machining process may be visible. Stainless steel shafts will show CNC processing marks. These are cosmetic and will not impact the barbell's performance.

FRICTION WELDING

How a barbell is used will affect its durable lifespan and it's a key factor in determining what type of F Rating™ might be suitable for your gym's needs. This graph correlates the F Rating™ of a barbell with different types of usage in order to predict the durable lifespan. Using this data, we are able to make recommendations on what F Rating™ is appropriate for different training situations. With a rating of F10-R, the 20KG Ohio Power Bar is rated to outlast a lifetime of lifting (50+ years) in a powerlifting facility or home gym.

TENSILE STRENGTH
Expressed in PSI, tensile strength measures the maximum weight a barbell can support before deforming. The 200K tensile strength falls within the optimal range of minimal flexion for maximum stability throughout the lift.

200,000 PSI Steel
The Ohio Power Bar’s 29MM diameter steel shaft boasts a tensile strength of 200,000 PSI, delivering superior rigidity and virtually zero whip/flex. Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the bar also features a snap-ring design and quality bronze bushings for a smooth, consistent feel. IPF approved for competition.
Aggressive Knurl
The bar includes single powerlifting marks and a center knurl, each featuring a deep, coarse pattern that produces a reliable grip / stick without being sharp or abrasive. Perfecting this knurl pattern is both a science and an art. Every bar shaft is machined in Columbus on new Haas machines (built in the USA) and fine-tuned and personally tested by the Rogue team.
Friction Welded Sleeves
A technique borrowed from the worlds of aviation and automotive manufacturing, the friction welding process creates a precision, forged-quality bond, resulting in superior strength and fatigue resistance, as well as a finer grain structure on the welded joint.
Two Finish Options
The 20KG version of the Ohio Power Bar is available in your choice of two quality finishes. The Black Zinc option (black shaft, bright sleeves) provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the Stainless Steel variation (with Chrome sleeves) creates the look and natural feel of bare steel with less upkeep required.
