With these on the rack, it really give you confidence to push near failure

This isn't my first rodeo with the monster lite squat stand and spotter arms. I am creating a duplicate home gym in a second home and have had my original stand etc since Covid came around. Top notch squat stand set up for sure which is why I have bought it again.

These things are tanks. Super solid. Don’t clank when using the rack. I strongly recommend them if you get a Monster Lite rack or stand.

Warning. As mentioned by several other reviewers the hole spacing that these use does not line up appropriately with the hole spacing on the lower aspect of the rack if being used for bench press. The vertical span of holes blocked/used is large as well on the rack. Thus, the ideal position for me to use these for bench press (with the rogue bench and bar) will preclude attaching the plate holders either on the side of the rack (which would interfere with bench press weights given the narrow bar - weights on bar would make contact with weights stored on side) or on the back of the rack (as the holes are blocked for attaching the plate holder and moving this lower wouldn't allow loading 45lb plate due to height or higher would be precluded by the remainder of the spotter arm). Bottom line...these might be nice safety option for lifting or squatting but they will preclude you from using plate storage either behind or on side if you intend to bench press with these on the SML-2C squat stand and Rogue adjustable bench 3.1 unless you can tolerate the safety arms 1 slot higher than I can). Rogue should warn you about these limitations when adding plate storage as well. Ideally the hole design would be reconsidered on the safety arm and or rack to prevent this from being an issue.

These work great. For now I only have been using them for back squats and they are fantastic. I use it with the folding monster lite rack mounted with the rogue stringers.

I should have gotten these when I ordered my rack. Instead I opted for the pins. The pins work but are a pain to move. They're also noisy, since the steal sleeve is unpadded. (Tip: putting 2" PVC pipe over the sleeves deadens the noise, although it makes them even trickier to move.) The safety spotter arms, on the other hand, are easy to move and quiet when you hit them with the bar. I now leave the pins in a low setting for deadlifts and move the spotter arms around as needed. I thought about getting the straps instead, but it seemed difficult to position them for bench press since they move down when weight is placed on them. I'm completely happy with the spotter arms and highly recommend them.
