Anchored to a heavy duty steel and aluminum platform, the Air Rhino is a user powered engine providing velocity dependent resistance that scales with your effort. Built for Power, Speed, and Recovery
The Air Rhino features a precision-engineered, low-inertia flywheel designed for high-force output. Unlike traditional flywheels that carry speed between reps, it slows significantly after each pull to eliminate momentum and emphasize raw force production. This shifts the focus from cardiovascular rhythm to a dedicated strength tool built for maximum explosive intent, while still remaining accessible for applications ranging from clinical rehabilitation to high-intensity strength training. Resistance is further refined through a continuous damper with a stepless sliding scale, offering precise adjustability. Combined with a concentric-only resistance system, the Air Rhino is also ideal for high-frequency training, rehab, and speed work, minimizing muscle damage and supporting faster recovery between sessions.
Engaging Rhino Mode turns your next reps into a true strength-focused workout. This patent pending system uses magnetic resistance to create a smooth but powerful drag on the flywheel, simulating the feel of moving heavy weight without the need for physical contact between parts. As you pull harder and move faster, the resistance increases, allowing the machine to reach up to 1,200 pounds of peak output. Rhino Mode pushes your explosiveness by matching your effort with strong, controlled resistance, delivering the feel of heavy lifting with a smoother, safer training experience.
Precision Feedback
The 4.7 inch LCD console provides more than just standard metrics. Along with real time velocity, cadence, and reps, the monitor features a barbell equivalent setting. This calculates the sustained effort required across the lift, providing a familiar benchmark comparable to traditional plate loaded movements. The monitor also tracks total weight lifted, which measures cumulative force throughout the entire range of motion to ensure fair competition regardless of an athlete's height or limb length. An integrated device holder keeps devices secure and visible throughout every session.
Optional Rack Integration
The Air Rhino excels as both a standalone unit and a rack integrated trainer. Using our rack integration kit, you can anchor the platform into a Monster or Monster Lite power rack to add air and magnetic resistance to pullups and other traditional bodyweight movements.

Despite its industrial grade build, the Air Rhino remains mobile. The tilt and go transport system features ergonomic front pocket handles and large diameter rear turf tires. These oversized wheels glide over virtually any surface without snagging, allowing a single person to reposition the unit in seconds. Integrated foot placement indicators and telescoping stability handles ensure that once the machine is in place, you can lock in your stance and start training immediately.
Quick Release Engagement Lever
Standard belt squats often force athletes to start from a compromised, deep squat position. The Air Rhino solves this with the quick release engagement lever that allows you to pull the cable to your desired height with minimal resistance, enabling you to secure your belt or attachments while standing upright. Once you are locked in, simply flip the lever and begin your set. Combined with our concentric only design, this removes unnecessary setup time and lets you target specific sticking points with greater precision.
