RACKABLE SHORT BAR
Designed as a “shorty” version of our flagship Cerakote Ohio Bar, the 15KG Rogue C-70S Bar combines the multipurpose use of the Ohio Bar with the compact design of our C-70 Bar, while still allowing the bar to be racked in a power rack or squat stand. This allows you to perform all strength movements, from the squat, bench press, and deadlift, to Olympic lifts‒clean and snatch, while in the tight confines of a home or garage gym, or a busy training facility.
EFFICIENCY MEETS FUNCTIONALITY
The compact design doesn’t equate to lifting light weight. With a loadable sleeve length of almost 9" this bar has the capacity for (3) 45lb competition style bumpers or (5) standard iron plates on each end, while still leaving ample room for collars. The 52” spacing between the sleeves allows this bar to be racked on any standard power rack or squat stand. This barbell allows for a wide range of strength movements from the rack or floor, all within limited space constraints.
For those looking to maximize the weight on shorter sleeves, the Rogue USA Olympic Plates or Rogue KG Calibrated Plates will allow you to exceed a 700lb+ total bar load.

Every C-70S Bar is specially machined and assembled in Columbus, OH using US steel that has been proven optimal for both Olympic lifting and Powerlifting. The 190,000 PSI tensile strength shaft features dual knurl marks for Olympic Weightlifting (IWF) and Powerlifting (IPF), and our signature Ohio knurling pattern that is carefully refined for a solid yet non-abrasive grip suitable for multi-purpose strength training.

Key Features of the Rogue C-70S Bar:
Geschikt voor rekken
As the biggest feature of its design, the C-70S can be racked conveniently on most standard power racks / squat stands, dramatically improving its functional benefits over most standard short bars. Additionally, while the sleeves are shorter on this model, the 52” of spacing between them is the same as a full-length barbell, allowing athletes to perform movements that haven’t traditionally been practical with short bars, such as the snatch and overhead squats. It should be noted that the 8.875” of loadable sleeve length is roughly half that of the Ohio Bar (16.4”) and slightly less than the original non-rackable C-70 Bar (12”). There is no center knurl, and the Rogue logo is included in the center of the shaft as part of the Cerakote finish.
RUIMTEBESPARENDE EFFICIËNTIE
The advantages of a short bar go beyond just a home gym. In large gyms, the design of the C-70S allows more athletes to train simultaneously, and in a cramped garage gym, the shorter shaft (72” vs the 86.75” of a full-length Ohio Bar) enables full Olympic lifting movements—including proper hand placement on the snatch grip—with more room to spare and easier storage between workouts.
F16-R DURABILITY RATING
Like the full-length Ohio Bar, the C-70S is manufactured in the USA and equipped with dual knurl marks, quality composite bushings, and a 28.5mm, 190,000 PSI tensile strength steel shaft. Each shaft is treated with our exclusive Rogue Work Hardening (RWH™) process for superior fatigue resistance. With its short sleeves, there is also significantly less stress put on the shaft on each drop. As a result, the C-70S scores a rating of F16-R in F-Scale durability testing, the highest mark of any barbell we’ve tested.
SCHACHT MET CERAKOTE-AFWERKING
All of our Rogue C-70S Bars feature a black Cerakote shaft finish. Widely used by firearm manufacturers for its durability in thin applications, this ceramic-based coating can offer superior abrasion, wear, and corrosion resistance over time—up to 100x that of traditional black zinc.
