Great for squats, deadlift, and leg press
I was doing squats, deadlift, and leg press in my socks before this because I noticed how unstable lifting in the average soft-soled shoe is. However, with sanitary concerns of using socks on a gym floor, I got these shoes. They are extremely stable and comfortable, with a snug fit after tightening the straps. Since they grip the gym floor, they are actually more stable than socks and regular shoes, meaning they work well for any static lift on your feet. Clearly not meant for walking any long distances, though. The slight heel elevation make squats and leg press feel great as it increases your effective ankle mobility. For deadlifts, the raised height compared to being in socks is a disadvantage, but it just means you're working a bigger range of motion, leading to less ego lifting, which is always a good thing.

Fits my wide feet.
It was time to replace my old Adipowers, which were always great to squat in but were so narrow in the toe box that I dreaded wearing the shoes more than I dreaded lifting all that weight. These fit the bill for me and my old-man wide feet. The lift from toe to heel in the show is a little less than with the Adipower, but I'm good with that. I'm taking off a star for the "END PLASTIC WASTE" message inside the shoe. When I can see that message, I'm either about to lift, or I'm tired from lifting, and I don't need eco-preaching from some goober at a shoe company; I've got the internet for that. May I suggest, "Don't be a wuss." or "Only the strong survive." You know, something appropriate for what I'm doing with these shoes. Also, Rogue was great to work with through some shipping issues. Buy here with confidence.

Solid lifting shoe, ladies should size half down
Super comfortable and sturdy lifting shoes. I wear Nike Flyknit US 8 (women's) and bought size 7/8, but it still feel a touch too big for me. Put a flat insole in and wore thicker socks with them and they're now nice and snug. Overall very happy with this pair and I highly recommend them.

Dinnie Stone Rings Second Pair
This is my second pair of Dinnie stone rings from Rogue. The first pair are tethered on a rope for pullups, inverted rows, etc... The second pair are tied semi-permanently to some farmers walk handles. It helps to have more than one set of rings when training to lift the stones. I have not lifted the actual stones so I can't say how similar the pair Rogue sells is to the real thing. However, the first pair had very little difference in size. The small ring wasn't that small relative to the bigger ring. The second pair were also close in size but not the same. I like the idea of lifting rings so after my Dinnie stone lift I can use the Rogue rings regularly. The steel making up the actual rings on the stones looks much narrower so more pain when you lift. That said, these rings are far better than the giant wood gymnastic rings you can get anywhere.

Good quality!
1st- as noted by others, you need to buy a pair one to one-and-a-half sizes above your normal. I bought one size large, and they were just a little tight but certainly tolerable given the wide adjustment range. The overall quality is good, and the amount of lift seems as advertised. As far as how they compare to other lifting shoes, I can only say they are better than my entry level Reeboks.
