Garmin Tacx® NEO 2T Smart Trainer

Garmin’s Tacx NEO 2T Smart Trainer is the closest thing to riding outdoors you’ll ever find indoors. This revamped model provides a more immersive experience, simulating a true road feel while precisely measuring total power, left/right balance, and more. It’s available here with a pre-installed Shimano/SRAM 9-11 speed freehub cassette body. The cassette itself is not included. You will need a cassette of the same type and speed as your bike.

Tacx Smart Trainers are giving cyclists a way to experience many of the same benefits of outdoor biking inside the home, with more real-world accuracy than a typical stationary bike or roller trainer can offer. In any weather, and any season, you get rack up the miles simply by removing the back wheel of your outdoor bike and locking into the NEO 2T Smart Trainer.*

The Tacx NEO 2T can now produce up to 2,200 watts of power and replicate up to a 25% gradient, and while maintaining a remarkably quiet performance. The unit reacts instantly to speed or incline changes and allows for movement to the left and right while cycling, following the natural course of your body. NEO 2T also uses dynamic inertia to control mass inertia and compensate for weight, speed, and angle of inclination, making your ride feel more realistic.

You can ride the NEO 2T in standalone mode or connect with your devices via BLUETOOTH® Smart technology or ANT+® FE-C protocol. When connected, you can access the terrific Tacx Training Software library, filled with more than 100 high-quality, real-life videos that let you experience the rush of riding the steep hills of the Alps or the cobblestone roads of Milan. The smart trainer also works with a number of popular training apps, such as TrainerRoad and Zwift, and allows you to connect to multiple devices simultaneously. This also means there are more ways than ever to track your performance and progress with reliable, consistent measurements — no calibration needed. That includes power, speed, and cadence, all measured accurately within 1%.

The trainer reacts instantly to speed or incline changes and allows for movement to the left and right while cycling, following the natural course of your body. When integrated with Tacx Training software and the “Road Feel” feature, you’ll even get to simulate the feeling of riding on different road surfaces in real locations around the world.

Sprint & Climb

The powerfully built NEO 2T now has 32 integrated neodymium magnets, allowing for a high brake force and higher power levels. Your bike will remain stable even during explosive sprints, up to 2,200 watts, and every intense workout is further aided by realistically simulated inclines up to a 25% gradient.

Smooth & Silent

Smooth & Silent

Redesigned magnets have significantly reduced the internal air displacement and vibrations in the NEO 2T, resulting in a remarkably silent smart trainer.
