Rogue Echo Slam Balls

Overhead medicine ball slams are great for working the entire body and for releasing some aggression, but they tend to take a toll on the medicine ball itself. Enter the Rogue Echo Slam Ball—specifically designed and battle-tested to absorb the worst abuse and come back for more.

Available in weight increments from 10 lbs up to 50 lbs, these rubberized, dead-bounce Slam Balls can benefit athletes of any size and skill level, and they’re versatile enough to use as wall balls or for traditional medicine ball exercises, as well.

In merciless testing, Echo Slam Balls consistently ran the gauntlet. That’s why we’re backing them with a 2-Year Warranty. If your Echo Slam Ball fails within that time span, you can send us its shell and we'll send you a new ball.

*Warranty against failure does not cover any ball which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, or alteration by the user. International customers will be responsible for replacement shipping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing tool, subpar information. It works great and the warranty is reassuring in case this ball leaks or breaks. But nowhere does it say how full to keep the ball. Contacting Rogue about this only resulted in a generalized answer referring back to the warranty on this. All I want to know is how full to keep it with air and I can't seem to find that information. I appreciate the good warranty on this, but would rather keep it in the best condition and avoid any extra hassle with having to replace it (should that occur).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for about a week After a week or two of slamming these balls are pretty messy. The filing just spills out of them with every slam. We can always tell when someone's been using the slam ball because there's sandy spots all over the box floor. Do better Rouge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer Service is Awesome We bought a bunch of these slam balls knowing that rogue was the only brand to go with. After 1 year of using them, 3 of our balls had a small rip in all the balls. Right wear you pump it up was the tear. But we called Rogue and let them know what happened. We took a picture, and emailed it, and Rogue sent us brand new replacements. That is unbelievable customer service. That's the reason you buy Rogue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Quality Slam Ball I've Ever Used I've used a few slam balls throughout the years for training and this is by far the best quality one I've ever used. Super tough and holds up great for my two roommates and I who put a beating on this thing. A wonderful addition to my garage gym.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garage Gym Approved I have had the 20lbs Slam Ball for over one year. For me personally, durability is not an issue. I am the only one that uses the ball, and only use it a couple times a week. I can see how a commercial gym would have durability issues with the high volume of use. As of now no complaints. Great product for a great price. Plan on purchasing more in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inconsistent size I chose the fair rating. Because of limited space I wanted equipment off of the floor and a few extra slam balls. I bought the wall mount and after measuring my space, 4 slam balls because at 9" each I could could fit the mount rails and 4 slam balls along with my 6,8,10,12 regular ones in the 68" space I had free on the wall. When they arrived the 10,15,20 were 10" and the 25 was 9", not a big deal in general (the 25 being smaller does annoy my OCD) but I cant fit the last ball on the rails because of the 3" difference. Figured I'd share for those with limited space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around ball Bought this a while back to serve double duty as a wall ball and slam ball. It does great at both but don't expect it to bounce off the wall at all. Very durable and I doubt I'll break it anytime soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Keep Popping I am a CF box owner and have been ordering from Rogue for over 5 years. I always highly recommend every other single product they make for its quality and durability EXCEPT these slam balls. I've owned 3 different other brands of slam balls and they have all lasted at least 2x's longer. When the Echo's came out I figured they had to be the best in the industry. I've had 4 balls pop in the last 4 months (from 20lbs - 40lbs), some popped within the month ordered and we definitely don't use them daily. Seem a little more "airy" than other slam balls and maybe that's why. Rogue please redesign! Date of review - 9/11/14

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty, great price Bought the 20lb for my garage gym to also double as my Wall Ball. Have been using it now for over a month and its perfect. Plus I feel like this thing will be around for a long time, it feels heavy duty and well built. It's obviously a smaller diameter than the Med-balls when doing Wall Ball workouts but I have no complaints and it also has very little bounce which is what you want in a slam ball, plus you can't beat the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! I was searching for a medicine ball for my wife to use during ab workouts. I came accross the slam ball, and since it was cheaper I bought it. It was as advertised, but when I took it to my garage and threw it down and it didn't move I was surprised. There is literally no feed back. I slammed it down a few more times and I found myself wanting more and more. It's a great piece of equipment and well worth the price tag. It reminds me of fitness play-doh...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ball, but it popped. Got the 50lb slammer, and it was great using it for the 2 months I had it, but it popped the other day. Kinda pissed, but I might just try and tape it over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great full body exerciser This slam ball is well constructed and just slippery enough that it forces you to apply additional grip to maintain adequate control. It is an excellent tool for a near complete functional movement total body workout out. I purchased the 30lb Slam Ball and it truly does the trick. It has very little bounce which forces one back into the squat position to retrieve it for your next rep. It does the body good, get one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed. < 6 months & broken. I just had to stop a slam ball WOD because the air is coming out of the ball. I can see air spewing out dust or whatever it is inside of the ball every time I slam it now. This ball has only been used a dozen times or so by myself. All I did was pick it up, and slam it to my rubber floor. It was great until just now. Ugh. What do I do now, Rogue?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid-killer cardio First medicine ball that I purchased is a 25 pounder. Never used them before, but these feel great, good texture for when you're sweating, and trust me, after many slams and tosses, you're gonna be sweating good! The cardio that these medicine balls can provide is incredible, very fun to work out with, can't wait to move up in weight!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO. NOT. BUY. I own a gym in PA, we're not a cross fit affiliate but use these often. My population is 95% middle aged overweight women, we have broken SEVEN of these in ONE month. We have a corner of the gym called the slam ball graveyard. Rogue has been nice enough to replace them as they've broken, and finally just gave us a giftcard for a different brand. They don't have this model mastered yet.... These broke within days of us getting them, then the replacements broke too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality I recently purchased a 25 and 45 for my garage gym. I use the 25 for wall ball and it works great. The textured surface is easy to grip even with sweaty hands. It's works great and is half the price of a traditional wall ball. I use the 45lb for slams and there is absolutely no bounce. The diameter of the 45 seems a bit larger than the green slammers I've used but that is not an issue for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fun and great Cardio Never used one of these before so got one for home for alternative cardio for a little fun and this does the Job, I purchased the 25lb ball and its perfect weight for Cardio after about 20 slams my heart is pounding out my chest. My Children also love picking them up like little atlas stones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid - but absolutely no bounce (true Dball) Bought one to check out to see if they'd at all be like the other larger black 14# and 20# dballs, they work great and are solid, just no bounce at all like the larger black d-balls give when slammed hard enough. If you just need for slams, great option at much savings compared to the black d-balls.
