Too easy, not stable
I have a normal GHD, but my old gym has one of these. The rolling pads make this extremely easy and also decrease the stability, and not in a good way. I'm not sure why this is more expensive than other GHD's, but it's definitely not worth it. If you're too weak to use a regular GHD, just wrap a band around your feet (one at a time) and do hamstring curls with that. Alternatively, buy a plate loaded hamstring curl machine.

Super stable, love the long handles
This design has been around for more than a decade for many good reasons. It is the most stable GHD on the market for under $1,000. It does not wobble like most other units and will survive much more abuse. The long handles are also great for new tall athletes with long upper bodies.

For the newbie
Our gym has this style GHD with the rolling pads and knee pad... very awkward and too easy. We keep trying it different ways hoping to make it more difficult but it's just plain awkward. Great for people with weak hamstrings who need to start developing them.

Dont buy
I have had this GHD for years and the pads keep needing replacement. York was no help. They have redesigned the pads at one point so they are aware of the design flaw. The rouge GHD are much better for the price!
