Product Description

The Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar is one of our finest, precision-engineered power bars to date, generating a higher amount of flex ideal for deadlifting. Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the ODB features a 190,000 PSI shaft with a comparatively thin diameter (27MM) and longer overall length (90.50" is just within most powerlifting federation standards). This combination creates a bar that’s both easier to grip and designed for increased whip/flex when pulling. For many power lifters, that greater flex means being able to pull from a higher point before the plates break off the floor, potentially increasing the amount of weight that can be lifted in the process.

The Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar is one of our finest, precision-engineered power bars to date, generating a higher amount of flex ideal for deadlifting. Like all Rogue bushing bars, the Ohio Deadlift Bar includes sleeves with a quality snap ring construction—far superior to the cheaply produced bolt-and-pin style sleeves of some other brands. The powerlifting knurl marks on this bar are a bit deeper / more aggressive than our Ohio Power Bar, but machined in the same pattern. There is no center knurl.

Please Note: Like any fine piece of machined steel, a bare steel barbell will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3-in-1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and it really does produce an unmatched feel.

Great deadlift bar
I’ve only had time to use this bar on three occasions, but so far I am really happy with this bar. Deadlifting with it feels amazing. The knurl is just perfect. There is some noise from the sleeve area when putting the bar down, but this does not really bother me on this kind of bar. Highly recommended for deadlifts!

Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar-Black Zince
The Rogue Ohio Deadlift bar is the most recent addition to my home gym. The quality is excellent. I was very happy that the bar was delivered four days after I placed my order. This is the same bar that I used in the Badger State Games Bench press/Deadlift meet.

Awesome
This bar is already one of the most used bars in my gym. Immediately after putting out for access, members knew exactly what the assignment was: PR on Deads and everyone loves it.

Deadlifts
I pull the bar with weight on it. Lil bendy at heavy loads. I like that. Hook grippers, you got a lil more narrow of a bar to lock that thumb into. Big win. Send it.

Great bar, but coating doesn't last
I own a lot of barbells, but if I could only own one it would be the Ohio bar. It's a phenominal 'all-arounder'. The good: - Great balance of whip and firmness, for oly lifting and back squats - Knurling feels really good for a coated bar The bad: - The black zinc coating detracts A LOT from the knurling, and began flaking off within a few months. I also have an Ohio bar in stainless steel, and the grip difference is night-and-day - This bar is much louder than my bars from other companies when dropped Overall, I highly recommend the Ohio Bar, and I highly recommend you hold your nose and pay for the Stainless version instead of Black Zinc!
