Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the ODB features a 190,000 PSI shaft with a comparatively thin diameter (27MM) and longer overall length (90.50" is just within most powerlifting federation standards). This combination creates a bar that’s both easier to grip and designed for increased whip/flex when pulling. Like all Rogue bushing bars, the Ohio Deadlift Bar includes sleeves with a quality snap ring constructionfar superior to the cheaply produced bolt-and-pin style sleeves of some other brands. The powerlifting knurl marks on this bar are a bit deeper / more aggressive than our Ohio Power Bar, but machined in the same pattern. There is no center knurl.

The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. OXIDATION RATE
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.
Please Note: Like any fine piece of machined steel, a bare steel barbell will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3-in-1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and it really does produce an unmatched feel.
*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

My go to deadlift bar
I came back to using this deadlift bar after realizing that it just performs better for my style. The knurl in my opinion is perfect. It doesnt tear up my hands as bad, using hook grip and it has a nice little whip that is consistent and feels smooth.

I purchased this bar years ago when I first came out perfect knurling for dead lift. The bare still need some up keep but it is doable.

My favorite specialty bar. If I could only get one other bar besides the power bar it'd be this one. Great whip - you'll start to see it in the 300s.

It makes you a Diva
I had the privilege of using this bar for 7 months while deployed. I've hit decent numbers before, but this bar took me further. The knurling, whip and length all contributes to a larger lift. With your taxpayer dollars, I bought one for myself and have shared the deadlifting joy that only this bar can provide. Once you experience this goodness, you can't help but be an absolute Diva and be picky. Buy this bar and take your lifts above par.

Classic case of not knowing what you're missing
This bar is so superior to the bar i have i was shocked how much better something like a barbell could be. From the clean spin of the bearings to the super grippy knurling this bar just screams quality and gives you a confidence in your lifts that i have not previously known. I just this bar for simple Olympic lifts, rows and, of course, deadlifts. I have yet to have an issue with gripping this bar outside of my own lack of grip strength. The petina is starting to develop and i can't really say much about it because it's only developed around where it front racks and where i grip it so can't say much about it but i hope it looks nice and weathered with some stand out character
