Monster Strip®

I needed extra storage to fit in my garage, and overall the Monster Strip looks great. The Rogue finish (Garage Gym Reviews puts above all others) is really slick something — noticeably better than other brands, an amazing clean finish. However, it wasn’t supplied with Coach fitting bolts or plastic end caps, I needed to space the Strip away from wall for my installation location so possibly wouldn’t have used the fitting bolts if supplied ( So I can understand why these may not have been supplied). However end caps!! So because of the spacing I needed I had already purchased rubber spacers from Amazon. However it needs some kind of spacer between the Strip and the wall if you intend to hang Spotters or J‑Cups as they overhang when hanging them. It also came with an industrial locking pin that’s extremely secure — arguably too secure for simple storage, as it needs a fair bit of force to lock and unlock. I already use magnetic pins, so this felt unnecessary. I picked up some 3x3 (75mm) end caps on Amazon — £10 for a pack of 10 — which finish it off nicely. For me, Rogue would be better supplying a proper fitting kit and end caps rather than a hefty locking pin, or giving an option to purchase a basic fitting kit for a default install..

This is so amazing and versatile! I have an attic home gym with limited space for a rack and due to me doing mostly calisthenics also limited need for one. I attached 2 monster strips and 2 monster half strips to 4cm x 8cm wood studs directly to my brick wall with 6 fisher dowels and 12mm lag screws to the wall on each side and counter connected my P4 and the strips to the studs with 12mm nuts, washers and bolts for additional stability. It’s rock solid! I attached two monster attachment posts to the strips for banded resistance training at different heights with quick adjustability. I also attached a monster leg roller for Nordic hamstring curls at the recessed area at the window as well as Bulgarian split squats. Also great for hamstring stretching. The monster lite kids pull up bar works well on the keyholes as a static bar for all kinds of stuff from weighted vest rows to front levers or candle raises, tuck rows straight bar dips etc. In the future I’ll add a Landmine attachment. Rogue gives you two different mounting holes, 3/8 inch with the included lag screws and bigger holes for other mounting options, which I used.

Got this so I could attach a hack squat rack attachment to the wall!

I’m using these Monster Strips to mount my Voltra, and the rigidity is outstanding. I added a spacer board behind the strips, slightly smaller than the 3×3 tubing, which offsets the mount from the wall. This provides plenty of clearance so attachments can move freely without ever touching the drywall. The result is a very clean, rock-solid install.

Works great! I reinforced the wood studs with some more screws just in case. I’m 180 lbs & no problems. My Son was sick of me taking up space on his rack. Great alternative!

Built strong to perfection. Versatile. Get creative!

Easy to install with included hardware. Just buy a strip of wood to give the monster strip enough space for attachments and you’re good to go.

bought 2 of these and mounted on stud with the short post that comes with velocidor to make a continuous strip in order to do dips/pull ups/ band pulls with the monster attachment post.
