Rogue Dog Sled 1.2

Push It. Pull It. Customize It.

The new Rogue Dog Sled is the next evolution of the power sled—compact, tough, and versatile enough for push, pull and speed training on almost any surface. With the addition of holes in the sled’s skis, it’s also now compatible with a wide range of mountable attachments, including the Double Handle, Lawn Boy, Wheelbarrow, and more.

The CrossFit Games battled-tested Rogue Dog Sled comes standard with a quarter-inch steel base plate, 2x3” 11-gauge steel tubing, and a pair of 3-foot upright push bars designed to accommodate both high and low push stances. Compared to many prowler and speed sled designs, the portable Dog Sled has a smaller overall surface area, allowing you to get the most out of the plates that you own.

Improving your body's ability to maximize its use of the anterior and posterior chain is the holy grail of power and performance. This is what ideal resistance sled training can accomplish, and it’s what the Rogue Dog Sled delivers.

1Bridge Attachments

Dog Sled Bridges are 2x3" 11-gauge steel tubes that create additional mounting faces for your sled. IMPORTANT: Bridge Attachments are required if you want to add a Double Handle, Wheelbarrow, Lawn Boy, or Wrap Around Rail sled attachment.

2Low Bar Attachment

Low Bar Attachment – Measures 8-3/8” from ground to center line. 1.9" diameter handle. Helps keep the body more parallel to the ground, emphasizing the quads. Bolts directly to the Dog Sled and the bridges ARE NOT required for installation.

3High Bar Attachment

High Bar Attachment – Measures 17-3/8” from ground to center line. 1.9" diameter handle. Places the user in a more upright position similar to a sprint. Generally easier to push than the Low Bar. Bolts directly to the Dog Sled and the bridges ARE NOT required for installation.

4Double Handle*

Features two bars measuring 11.17” and 16.3” from ground to center line, respectively. Both bars have 1-3/8” diameter handles. Design allows for more height variety than a single attachment. The Double Handle Attachment must be used in conjunction with the bridge attachments.

5Wheelbarrow Attachments*

Kit includes all parts required to turn Dog Sled into loadable wheelbarrow with 500+ LB capacity. Use the provided pair of HG Collars to secure a 45 LB HiTemp bumper (or other 25+ LB plate) as the wheel (Bumper not included). The handles should sit 9” from ground when installed. The Wheelbarrow Attachment must be used in conjunction with the bridge attachments.

6Lawn Boy Attachments*

Measures 30” from ground. 1-7/8” diameter handles. Can be used for pushing or dragging exercises, with the high placement emphasizing the upper body. A detent pin is used to install the handle for fast, easy change-outs. The Lawn Boy Attachment must be used in conjunction with a bridge attachment.

7Wrap Around Rail*

Allows users to quickly change direction without having to swing the sled around or hook/unhook the strap after each pull/drag—saving both time and energy. Includes carabiner and sled strap. The Wrap Around Rail must be used in conjunction with the bridge attachments.

*Asterisk denotes that the Bridge attachments are required for installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dog sled I'm almost 67 and sled 3 times a week and the other 3 day, farmers walk. Living on a street with 8% grade, I push and pull this wonderful platform 4/10 of a mile. Started earlier this year sled platform only, now sled and plates at, yesterday 22 July, 278.5#. Goal is 200% bodyweight or around 350#. I will be 67 on 9/11 and with God's help, sometime thereafter will achieve that. Sledding and farming has and is transformational to my physique.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome strength and conditioning sled I bought this 3 months ago. My initial add ons were the plastic skis, harness and the 100 ft nylon rope. I use this on the street in front of my house 2-3 times a week. Sled pushes, drags and hand over hand pulling. It's built like a tank - solid and buy it for life sled. After a month of using it back and forth on the street, I decided to purchase the bridge pair and rail kit. Highly recommend this if you using it to go back and forth over short distances. Nylon rope is fine - for me 100ft is too much and no option for shorter length. Once you add in the bridge pair and rail - the sled weights over 150 lbs!!! Another thing to note is that a harness comes with the rail kit. There are so many things you can with this sled - varying weight, distance, speed and method of pull/push....can't say enough good things about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BUY IT! I bought this sled for both myself and my 12 year old son. I've used this sled on both grass and an Olympic sized, rubber coated track. It works fine in grass as long as the surface is clear of lumps, rocks and holes but on a track it runs super smooth. I also purchased the 100ft rope which I use for hand over hand, strongman style pulling which I would definitely recommend. Built tough and produces solid results. Great investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Sled - Skip the Plastic on the Runners I love this sled. Loved the 1.0 version at my old gym, so I bought the "new and improved" version for my home-based Iron Dojo. Everything that needs to be said about it has already been said, but I would strongly advise skipping the plastic for the runners if you're going to use this sled outside, particularly on hard surfaces... Nothing hurts worse (well, not much, anyway) than getting a full head of steam going and slamming to a dead stop because the plastic caught a crack in the asphalt. Bad choice on my part, so lean from my stupidity and save your elbows some stress.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Natural grass is your enemy The sled is awesome, robust construction with great looks. If you are buying this for outdoor use on natural grass consider the traditional Butcher. This unit it so compact and heavy and the long side runners are fully in contact with the ground at all times. This creates extra friction and therefore resistance, which is fine on artificial turf or carpet (less plates required). However on grass the front of the runners easily digs into the ground and causes the sled to tilt forward making it nearly impossible to push, especially for youth. Unlike some other reviewers, I bought this primarily for outdoor use so I'm giving it 4 stars, otherwise it's a premium product based on it's versatility and construction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny! Purchased this for my 9yo son that plays LB/DB/RB. The sled is built like a tank, 108lbs dry weight. We use it primarily on grass which has alot of traction, so there's no need for us to add any plates for now. He gets an incredible workout with it; working on power, explosiveness and speed. If your son works out and has a good level of strength, this is the must have for him to continue to build. Awesome product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Five stars, but........... Five stars, but there is one problem. It's heavy to start which means smaller users and youth can't use it. Sad considering it's features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from deadly got this on the black friday sale with free shipping.Never used a sled before so i had no concept of just how tough this is.Knew it would be good but this thing is the toughest workout I've ever done.I did sort of HIT/Tabata set workout last night and I literally dropped into a chair and fell asleep. It can be as brutal as you can handle.Just add more weight and go faster and/or longer.I can't imagine ever reaching a limit with this thing.I have an 80' shop to use it which is more than required especially with the wraparound rail kit but It does require some room.I screwed some solid maple skids to the bottom in the predrilled holes with 1/4" lag bolts since I'm on concrete and want to protect it a bit plus quieter.$70 for the plastic ones seemed high especially when maple is free for me.I pimped mine out with several of the extras. The wraparound rail kit is worthwhile imo.One caveat is I also got the double handle and it won't work with the wraparound rail in place. They almost touch.Could take one or the other off to make them work which is a pain.Slight design flaw in an otherwise very well thought out unit.Would be good if they advised potential customers of this situation.I will likely fabricate something with a spacer bar and some quick release system or something to make it work but if you're not good at or don't want to be bothered MacGyvering something,I wouldn't buy the 2 together.Truthfully I wouldn't bother with any extra handles as the 2 supplied uprights are enough IMO.Love the wheelbarrow option too.No need for the front wheel/plate attachment either IMO.The skids(maple in my case) work just fine.Overall I can't recommend this thing highly enough.Rock solid and an absolute killer workout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great workout! With the angle you must assume when pushing, this is similar to having your very own hill to run sprints on, with the added benefit of increasing the weight to make it more difficult and without having to walk down the hill with tired, shaking legs. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Just got this in the mail a few days ago and all i can say is this thing is a beast! Shipping was crazy fast (3 hours from the time of order to shipping). I didn't realize how beefy this thing was going to be, but it is built like a tank. Beautiful powder coat, awesome welds, great job Rogue! Only a few bolts were required to put it together and it was ready to go! I did want to mention that I purchased the plastic skis since i live in an apartment complex and will be using this outside on asphalt. I have not used it without the plastic skis, but let me say that it is not loud AT ALL with them on. It slides very well and doesn't get hung up on anything. This is the end all be all conditioning tool. It's quick and effective and will make you want to puke! Get one!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously Amazing Get it don't think about it, i thought about getting this for over 2 weeks cause of the money but it is well worth it. Heavy gage steel durable. Love the plastic skis they are holding up well wish i would have gotten more attachments. Great conditioning work outs and cardio, kills the legs the first time but well worth the pain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously Impressive, a Rogue Tank! This is the second piece of Rogue equipment that I have purchased, and its absolutely top notch! I have used an EliteFTS Prowler 2 before, and it doesn't even come close to the quality of the Dog Sled. The powder coating is flawless, the compact design is storage friendly, being able to quickly switch the poles to the opposite side is a nice feature, and the ski design with the UHMW plastic has been excellent for street use (concrete). The only minor gripe that I have is the standard poles are about 6 inches short of ideal height, which limits your ability to sprint in a more natural upright stance. Not a deal breaker though, it forces you to dig a little deeper which has its benefits. Doesn't matter whether you are a Powerlifter, Bodybuilder, or Crossfitter, the Dog Sled 1.2 should be #1 on your list for strength and conditioning!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great strength and conditioning tool I bought this a month ago and enjoy using it every week. It is heavy duty and can take a beating. I like to think I'm in shape, but the first time I used the sled I wanted to puke. The dog sled is worth the price considering all the exercises you can do with one piece of equipment. Forward push, backwards pull, forward drag, truck pull (rope wrapped around stable object, use straps to drag with legs and rope to pull with upper body, mimics strongman truck pull) and rope pull. Not to mention the additional exercises you could perform with the attachments. Worth the investment!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rocks! Purchased with high bar attachment and plastic skis. I've been using it out of my garage on sidewalks and blacktop. Upright push poles and high-bar attachment provides multiple positions from which to push. Solid construction and easy to assemble. Provides an excellent compliment to more traditional CrossFit movements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Toy I really have enjoyed my sled. The quality is amazing and feels like it can survive a nuke. It short time I have started pushing and pulling over 300 lbs. I love finishing my leg workouts with various sled pulls and pushed and it has taken my strength and cardio conditioning to the next level. My body fat has dropped from around 15% to just under 10%. This sled and the battle ropes are the best thing to do after all your workouts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This is one of the most finest piece of equipment i have ever used in my workouts. Its like a normal sled on steroids!!! I thought the best attachment is the wheelbarrow one. I definitely recommend this product because it has a fairly low price and has SIX DIFFERENT ATTACHMENTS!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Piece of USA Made Equipment After seeing the many ways this sled was was used in the Games in the past the versatility speaks for itself. I got the plastic skis which are a welcome addition to the sled. The sled glides over many surfaces quietly with the skis. The straps and pull rope add additional uses to this sled........get it. Nuff said.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sled This is an awesome piece. We love the sled but we had difficulty pushing it on concrete. Maybe if we put the plastic skis on that would help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Underestimating the sled is a mistake.... I'm in medical school and have a very difficult time getting to the gym when I want to or dedicating the time when I get there. As a former strength and conditioning coach and person who trained in strongman, I got tired of feeling pudgy and decided to splurge on the dog sled after positive reviews from trusted mentors. It is a fantastic investment. The sled fits in the back of my SUV with plates, sandbags, sledge and other fun tools for impromptu training sessions when I have time. It is built solid. If there were one thing I'd change, it'd be the addition of the tow ring on both sides. It provides a nice handle to grip when loading in the car too since the other side can be a little sharp....it doesn't help that I'm absolutely devastated and near death at the end when trying to load this thing back up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible My new favorite sled. Ive been selling all my friends on getting one or replacing other sleds with the Dog Sled. Portability cant be beat. Durability is top notch. Ease of use is amazing. Simply moving the handles to the other side for the return trip is one of those Rogue moments of genius. The skids are great and the ground impact with them on is very minimal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dog Sled Review Top notch quality and construction....basically bullet proof. The skis make this sled friendly to both the user and the surface your using it on. Absolutely phenomenal conditioning tool. I've used this for pushing/pulling, an anchor for rope to do rope battles, anchor for the post landmine, etc. etc. Definitely recommend this sled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring the Pain This sled is an American made tank. Solid, heavy, yet small enough to put in the back of an SUV to take to a park. With the skis on there's very little noise when used on a street (for us garage guys). If I could make one change- have the strap attach on both sides. If you've ever wanted to start sled/prowler work for conditioning, this is the one to get. I can't recommend this enough.
