Rogue RML-490 Power Rack

Starting with the same Westside-inspired design as the popular Rogue R-4 Power Rack, the RML-490 utilizes 3x3” 11-gauge steel uprights—making it among the strongest and sturdiest power racks in the industry. Built in Columbus, Ohio, this highly customizable Monster Lite rack is equipped to serve professional strength training facilities, collegiate weight rooms, military training bases, and small garage gyms, alike.

The RML-490 includes Westside hole spacing, 5/8” hardware, and a set each of Monster Lite J-cups, pin/pipe safeties, and band pegs. Both a 43” Fat/Skinny Pull-Up and 43” Single Skinny Pull-Up Bar also come standard.

With just a 53” x 53” standard footprint, the RML-490 Power Rack is a compact unit well suited to custom additions. Popular accessories include the Monster Lite Matador, Monster Lite Safety Spotter Arms, and Long Plate Storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rack, poorly designed safety arms. This product would survive a nuclear holocaust. However, the safety arms are poorly designed. They are annoying to move from spot to spot because someone obviously didnt spend anytime thinking how terrible it would be during a work out to move them. I am probably going to ordering the belt style safety arms and I hope they are much less annoying to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Monster" is the Appropriate Title. I just received it this morning and hastily assembled it. I can tell already it is better than any rack I've ever used, and I could pass this down to another generation if I wanted too. I haven't bolted it down, but I purchased the Stabilizer Bar. I'm a 200 lb guy and can do pull-ups on the front and.. It doesn't move At All. Drop all reservations; this is what you want. It's worth the cost over cheap racks because it's laser cut and made by fitness professionals. This will last you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-of-the-Line Bought this product around two months ago and have been using it 3x a week for powerlifting. The rack holds up extremely well against day-to-day abuse. Between this and the Infinity series, I'd say go with the RML-490 just because of how much stronger it is. 100% worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #1 With safety straps, 3x3 tubing, bombproof hardware, a menacing finish, and concrete anchors this is the most solid rack that I've ever used. It is impossible to get this rack to rattle or budge. My wife jokes that she will chain herself to an upright with our dip belt if a tornado ever threatens. I could not be more impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny Like a lot of people, I spent a lot of time agonizing over what rack I needed and what was a good value for my dollar while looking at all of the options online. Luckily for me, I was soon to be traveling back to Ohio for Christmas, and that gave me the opportunity to visit the Rogue store. And that was all it took. Once I saw the quality of the materials and workmanship in all of the gear, I knew Rogue was getting my money. So, in a nutshell: 1. Built it myself in an hour, taking my time, and with nothing more than a ratchet and two 15/16" sockets. Everything fit together perfectly and it was square and level as soon as I tightened everything down. 2. Bolted it to the floor with the hardware purchased from Rogue. Hammer drilled the pilot holes and installed the bolts with my ratchet. 3. An elephant couldn't budge this rack 4. I upgraded to the sandwich cups and strap safeties. Both well worth the extra minor investment, especially when purchased as upgrades with your order. 5. The size of the rack made it easy to add plate storage without interfering with any exercise movements 6. I love this rack and I have no regrets at all 7. On top of all of that, it is made in the USA by a company that values its customers, and that feels as good as hitting a big lift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid rack! I got this rack about 2 months ago and I couldn't be more pleased. Solid construction and fantastic customer service. Rogue has yet another customer for life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid This thing is a beast. I highly recommend this rack. I have the battle rope attached to a ML shackle. Rack isn't bolted to the floor, yet. Rack moves very little while using battle ropes. Other than that this rack is solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition! I researched power racks for about a month before I decided this was the one. After speaking with the unbelievably helpful customer service my order was placed and even though I ordered it 2 days before Christmas it still arrived only 6 days later! I was a little nervous because the specs say 90" and my basement ceiling gives me 91.5" so if it wasn't accurate I was in trouble. Sure enough because they laser cut everything it was a perfect fit and so well built! I drilled it into my floor because I also bought the Matador Lite and being 300+ pounds doing dips off the front would most likely tip it. That Matador is awesome, snaps in in about 5 seconds and so sturdy while using it. You can't go wrong with any Rogue Products but I will let you this Rack is perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and Simple I finally pulled the trigger when this rack hit the market because it is the first one I've seen that allows me to mount the upper crossmembers a few inches lower. None of the other racks had a chance of fitting properly in my basement while still giving me enough headroom while unracking the weight. I will be able to use this rack forever, pass it on to my kids, and they will probably be able to pass it on to their kids. The build quality surpassed my expectations, and the orange finish looks phenomenal. After working with this rack for a bit over a month I feel that this is the last rack I will ever need to buy, and I look forward to getting more accessories for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Power Rack and Accessories I bought a little starter kit. Wish rack had the laser cut numbers on it. Nonetheless, very satisfied with eqyipment. "You look good, you feel good, you do good!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely awesome !! Just the squat rack to complete my home gym thinking that it was going to be sturdy and good-looking it far far exceeded all my expectations. Small issue with UPS that was NOT Rogues fault. I have had bad experiences with UPS and where other companies have made me deal with UPS like a middleman Road fix the problem immediately. Customer for life thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from just one thing I love this power rack it's definitely the best money can buy but I wish they had the holes numbered to make it quicker to move and match up the j cups and safety pins then I would've given this 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rack! I've been looking for another rack for a while and finally decided this was the one. I couldn't be more pleased. It's a beauty. I added the monolift attachments and additional XML-43 Cross Members to the top. I do pull ups on my other rack and this one is predominantly our squat platform. Assembly was quick, under two hours (not including screwing it to the floor, I have a stall mat/plywood subfloor and it took a little work). My only regret is I don't have room for another just like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One month later It took time, but I assembled it by myself within a few hours. I'm about 6'2, so I can't do overhead movements inside the cage, but I can do squats, bench presses, and dead lifts without problem (DLs outside of the cage). I wondered if I would look back in a months' time with disdain but found my adoration increased instead. I told my friends, and even work out with one of them regularly now with this power rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Power Rack Put this in our new garage (mounted to the floor) so we could workout at home as needed. Love the versatility of the rack; my wife can use the one side and I can use the other; plus with the safety bars we can do bench or squats by ourselves. Replaced the double bar with a multi-grip bar, added a matador, and a landmine as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work of art! This rack is a work of art. Easy to assemble, great packaging and solid construction. When I have visitors over, they are jealous of my Rogue setup. I have never been to a gym that has a squat rack that catches your eye. This is an eye catcher. I was shopping racks for a month and I kept comping back to the one. All of the other racks that I visually looked at for purchase, were around the same price, and not nearly as well constructed. I have not bolted this to the floor yet, and it is very solid. Great addition to the home gym, and it will last a life time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Quality and Craftsmanship! After pulling the plug on my gym membership, I placed a large order with Rogue, transforming my garage into a home gym. The RML-490 is the centerpiece of that setup I purchased this rack after reviewing many other options. It was my first time ordering anything through Rogue; however, I am so pleased with the quality of their products and customer support, it won't be the last. Compared to comparable products that I viewed, both manufactured and custom made, this rack was reasonably priced and superior in quality. I was thoroughly impressed with how strong this rack is. The 3x3" 11 gauge steel creates a formidable inert structure with, as far as I can tell, no weaknesses- not even in the joints. The welds are beautiful. It's obvious that the American craftsman that built this rack are true artists of their trade. I have no doubt it will easily out live me. And, while aesthetics might not be on everyone's list of desired qualities in a rack, I have to admit that the high gloss finish matched with green makes for an awesome look. My wife loves it. Customer support was top-notch. Ordering, customization, and delivery went flawlessly. Bottom line: Phenomenal quality, American-made rack from a company with stellar customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PPPPPower Rack! During 2013 Thanksgiving Friday special, RogueFitness was offering special deals for Black Friday so I decided to purchase this power rack for my garage gym. I am overly impressed with the quality of the equipment and customer service provided with the company. I was able to utilize the customer chat system on the web site and was surprised by the knowledge and the friendly customer service. This rack is the perfect size for my garage gym which allows one to perform squats, presses, deadlifts, and benching. I did not bolt the system down and had to purchase an additional stabilizer bar ($50) which does not get in the way at all. Even without bolting this beast down I am able to perform kipping pull ups without any worries. Overall, I am happy with the product I received and the customer service provided was excellent. In the future I would order from RogueFitness again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality you can count on... This is my first squat rack and am very pleased with it's rigidity and solid structure. I haven't bolted this bad boy down yet but almost feel like I don't even need to! It is a solid piece of equipment! I will probably breakdown and get old and grey before this rack fails in any way! Great product!
