Made from durable injection-molded plastic, the A-JACK is a uniquely portable and cost-efficient barjack, weighing just 0.5 LBS and easily fitting in any gym bag. The product was developed by gym owner Mark Nolan of Molon Labe CrossFit in Macedonia, Ohio, and it’s manufactured entirely in the Buckeye State.
The A-JACK measures 9-⅛” tall with a 7” wide x 2” thick base, creating a strong, triangular A-frame foundation. Grooved edges and a round center opening enable a firm grip during set-up, as the user can simply position the angled top portion of the A-JACK under the bar (at the interior edge of the sleeve) and gently roll the bar into a stable elevated position for easy plate loading or unloading. When done, simply roll the bar back off the jack.
With a weight load capacity of approx. 400 LBS, the A-JACK can effectively load both ends of a bar for deadlifts up to 800+ LBS in total. The plastic construction also reduces the risk of any scuffs or contact damage to the barbell itself even over repeated daily use.

Pretty handy
Cool little piece of equipment. I think it works best for 2+ plates - kind of easier to not use it with just 1 plate. I'm not sure how some of the other commenters are managing to crumple/buckle this thing - I guess I'm not using the manly poundages they are, so I doubt that will ever be an issue for me! Definitely makes it easier than trying to rassle the second or more plate away from the first plate when the barbell is on my plywood floor....

Impressive
This is a great little tool for loading the bar while it is on the floor. It is surprisingly strong and easy to use. I wish I had bought two, but one does get the job done just fine.
