Rogue Slice Sled

The Rogue Slice Sled is a dual-capability push/pull weight sled that combines quality steel construction and durability with fold-flat, stackable storage.

The Slice Sled is Rogue’s first steel speed sled with dual push/drag capability AND a convenient fold-down weight post. The unit comes standard with two 40” upright push handles—the same as found on our popular Dog Sled and the fold-flat weight post is carried over from our Fat Boy, and E Sleds. With a laser-cut hole, sled strap, and carabiner also included, the Slice Sled has few rivals for versatility, and makes a great option for gyms serving multiple athletes of varying skill levels.

Each sled weighs 65LB unloaded, and includes a 14" bolt-on center post with a load capacity of well over 300LB depending on the types of plates used. Customers also have the option to add a set of 0.5" thick UHMW plastic skis to their order. When bolted to the underside of the Slice Sled, these skis can greatly reduce the risk of damage to your gym flooring when using the sled indoors.

Maximum Versatility
1

Maximum Versatility

The hybrid design of the Slice Sled erases the notion that portable, storage-friendly sleds limit an athlete’s training options. With a set of uprights and a laser-cut hole for a carabiner and sled strap (included standard with order), this unit is ready-on-delivery for both pushing and dragging exercises on a wide range of surfaces.

Fold-Flat Post
2

Fold-Flat Post

We have utilized the same convenient fold-down weight post from our Fat Boy and E Sleds to create the first Rogue push/pull sled built for stackable storage. Trainers and coaches regularly transporting or storing multiple sleds will particularly benefit from this innovation. The 14 weight post bolts on to the sled’s base and has a load capacity topping 300LB, depending on the type of plates used.

Quality Steel Construction
3

Quality Steel Construction

Manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, the Slice Sled is constructed from laser-cut and formed 0.25" thick Laser-cut and formed steel construction with our trademark texture black powdercoat finish. This solid one-piece construction gives it a unique combination of durability and compactness, with a total footprint of just 27.5” x 22.75”.

Part of the Rogue Sled Series

Part of the Rogue Sled Series

The Slice Sled functions as a hybrid of several of our existing weight sleds, and as a result, can complement a gym’s existing sleds or serve as introduction to the Rogue series. Similar products include the Dog Sled, which offers push/pull capability with the addition of multiple attachments for a more diverse training regimen. The S-35 “E” Sled, meanwhile, is a good dragging option with even greater portability.

Customers have the option to add a set of 0.5" thick UHMW plastic skis to their order. When bolted to the underside of the Slice Sled, these skis can greatly reduce the risk of damage to your gym flooring when using the sled indoors.

Love this sled!
This thing is very well made. It came in a few pieces but very easy to assemble, really just have to add on the part that holds the plates. I also added the plastic ski kit, since I'm using it mostly on grass. Highly recommend adding that, otherwise it's just straight steel and wouldn't be great on the lawn. It's also pretty heavy as is, roughly 65lbs, so pretty beefy!

Nose Diver!
With all the great reviews, I was sure the few nose dive comments wouldn’t be a factor…… Well, I found out, there is no pushing this sled. I loaded it up with 90 lbs, I couldn’t push it on paved concrete, the street, or the grass with a low or high push without it nose diving? Works great as a pull sled….

Amazing sled-6 years in and still going strong
I have used this sled in both individual workouts and group training-it’s awesome. We push it and we pull it. I’ve replaced the plastic skis twice since we are on pavement. It stores very well in my garage and I load it often in my SUV for group workouts. Highly recommend this!!

Does the job I need it to do
I needed a sled that was compact for storing, capable of handling a moderate workout, and effective on asphalt. The slice sled is hitting all three needs. The collapsing post and removable handles are perfect for storing in my garage when not in use. I recently completed my treatment for cancer, so I'm getting back into working out after that ordeal. My immune system isn't ready to back to the gym, so the slice sled is my toy until I'm ready to get back to the gym. I bought the plastic skids to keep the noise down while I drag it in the street. It looks like the plastic will hold up for months at a minimum. I've used the sled for 2 hours so far (4 days, 30 minutes each day), and plastic isn't significantly worn. I've only used 50 pounds of added weight (plus a few trips down and back with my youngest riding on for fun), so that likely leads to less wear on the plastic, but I have more weight coming. I'm satisfied with the purchase, and would recommend for someone needing a small sled for personal use in tighter spaces.

Excellent Sled.
excellent. I purchased the plastic skis with the sled and have zero issues pushing it up the street and walking backwards pulling it home. I measured 50 yards out with GPS, making it easy to keep track of distances.
