SkiErg Handle Extension Pair - Rogue Edition

The SkiErg Handle Extension system, developed by Equip Products, enables adaptive athletes to fully utilize a SkiErg machine without having to remove or replace the original handles. For any size gym, this means quicker transitions between different athletes, and far easier access + less hassle for those training in a wheelchair.
Designed specifically for use with the Concept 2 SkiErg—an industry leading Nordic skiing machine—the extension kit features (2) polypropylene webbing straps with a loop on one end and a handle on the other. The loops cinch around the bottom of the existing SkiErg grips, while the adjustable handle portion of the straps hang down to a max extension length of 28" from the standard grips. Each 1.125" (handle) diameter handle includes a foam outer layer for comfort, and can be easily tightened/loosened so that athletes with limited dexterity can still pull the device with little to no grip strength required.

Great Handle Extentions
These straps make the transition between users with less hassle.
Living in the "Great White North", skiing is part of our family winter tradition and with these extension handles, our kids have easier access with the skierg.

Not so great
While they definitely made the skier handles easier to grab, it puts so much slack in the line when pulling, that I can't pull as quickly as I want. I ended up trashing them and replacing the rope in the skier with a longer piece of paracord.

Turn your rower into a ski erg!
So I hung my rower with the erg side closest to the ceiling onto the rogue rower/bench rack and connected these handles to the rower handle and presto! Make shift ski erg.

Great add on but needs a little more length
We have a couple clients who use a chair and thought this would be a great option for them. The length is perfect for one of our athletes who has longer arms but still too short for another. We have the Ski Erg on the platform so the chair can only roll so close. With a little help they still are a great buy!
