Convert your SML-2/3 Squat Stand into an RML-390F

RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack

The RML-390F is the Flat Foot version of the RML-3 Monster Lite Power Rack. Available as a stand-alone unit or by converting an existing SML-2 or SML-3 Squat Stand, this rack’s self-stabilizing base means you won’t need to bolt it to the ground before you use it—a major benefit for those looking to protect their floors or to have more flexibility in a workout space.

The Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack is manufactured in Columbus, OH, and features 3x3” 11-gauge steel uprights with Westside hole spacing and 5/8” bolts and fasteners. Leaving just a 48”x49” footprint, the unit still creates a substantial 30” of inside depth. Customers can choose between a Single Skinny or Fat/Skinny 43” Pull-up Bar, and all orders come standard with a pair of Monster Lite J-Cups and a pin/pipe safety system.

RML-390F Conversion Kit Includes:

  • (2) Monster Lite 90" Sticks
  • (1) XML-30" Crossmember Pair
  • (1) 30" Pin/ Pipe Safety System
  • All additional hardware required

Please Note: Band Pegs and Safety Spotter Arms should NOT be used with the Flat Foot Rack.

ALSO: If you already own a Rogue SML-2 or SML-3 Monster Lite Squat Stand and want to convert it to a Flat Foot Power Rack, we offer an RML-390F Conversion Kit with all of the components and hardware you will need. The conversion kit is only compatible with the SML-2 and SML-3 and provided uprights will only be available at the 90” height.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased! Had it cut down a few inches to fit in my basement, building it was so easy. Using it everyday, solid equipment. Couldn't be happier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome build quality, but you will want to bolt! I originally bought the SML-2 and got obsessed with upgrades, so I converted those stands to the 390F. I found that even with the rack weighed down, it would shift around with heavy re-racks, which I didn't particularly like. I then decided to get the S-BASE FLOOR MOUNTING FEET and then mount the rack to plywood, but the plywood wouldn't hold up very well either, so I ended up removing all the plywood and then sucking it up and drilling 4 inch tapcon concrete anchors into my garage floor. Now, there's no movement at all. Be careful not to overly tighten the screws up at the top or else the posts will bow in, so when it should have measured an even 43" across, mine would come in at 41-42". I had to loosen those screws slightly. You definitely won't want an impact hammer or torque wrench to tighten the bolts. A standard electric drill will do. Build quality is amazing and I love the Westside hole spacing for benching. If you can't bolt the rack down, I would recommend putting very heavy dumbbells on each of the four corners as that will minimize the shifting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first and last stop for a quality rack I did a lot of research when deciding on a rack for home. I wanted quality as I keep it outside in the elements. The quality of construction, components and finish (powder coat) meant that the Monster Lite was my choice. I have had it for four months now and confirm that it handles the elements well. Ideally I would have it inside, but I don't have the space. There is no need to shop around, get one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A household favorite! Center piece of gym. This thing is amazing. We saved for a year to have enough to build a home gym that warranted cancelling our gym membership. Mission accomplished. I almost tried to save a buck and go with another brand, but I'm so glad I didn't. We build this thing for the entire family, with safety in mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do NOT Hesitate! Got this rack after going back and forth for over a year on what I should get for my garage gym...I just built a house and didn't really want to bolt anything to the floor. I was a little skeptical about it being sturdy enough for pullups/muscle ups. This rack is a BEAST and does not budge while doing any type of movement. When it arrived it took me about an hour to put together, I didn't have anyone available to help and I wanted it together to use. I would recommend to have someone else to help, to help steady it, but it is very easy to set up. DEFINITELY GET THIS RACK!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing rocks....in a good way I did not want to anchor a rack down so I went with the flat foot version. This rack is very stable and I have no fear of tipping while doing pull-ups or any other excercise that loads up one side. I've purchased several items from rogue and this rack and the landmine are my two favorites. This is a great purchase that will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the Line First the word "lite" is a misnomer. There is nothing lite or flimsy about this gear. It is solid, quality built and the cornerstone of my home training center. Assembled it alone in about an hour. Buy, rent, borrow or steal an impact wrench and 15/16 wrench and socket. This simplifies assembly immensely. Directions were pretty clear and I had no issues putting it together. I would recommend this as a 2 person job to anyone getting one. This thing is great I am a hefty boy 260 lbs and shrinking and I do pullups, dips with the matador , squat 375 with nary a twitch out of this thing. I highly recommend this rack if like me you cant bolt to the concrete (infloor radiant heat). I am a rogue fanboy and proudly so they provide great gear, quality for price, awesome customer service and prompt delivery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the home gym Just added this as the last piece for the home gym. While I typically workout at local crossfit gym (Cfit Grandview!), my wife and I added a gym to our house to supplement and provide convenience. We didn't want to drill into the new concrete floor and didn't want to anchor anything to the new drywall so we went with this as our system for pull ups and squat work. I am very pleased with the stability, although I had to add plate storage pegs and weight to secure it for even butterfly pull-ups. Once the rig was weighed down (I am 6' and 195#) it didn't budge much at all. I don't think it is fair to expect more from this piece of equipment. For the price and size, this is a great option if you don't want to or can't drill into your floor or walls. Great value.
