Fat Gripz

Made from a military-grade, high-density compound, Fat Gripz can instantly transform any standard barbell into an axle bar (thick bar). They also fit most dumbbells, pull-up bars, and cable attachments, – doubling the thickness for a greater test of arm and grip strength. Once attached, Fat Gripz hold to the bar firmly like a clamp, and won't compress – even you're deadlifting extreme loads.

Thick bar training has become increasingly popular with athletes and military personnel around the world, and lightweight, portable Fat Gripz enable them to get the benefits of an axle bar wherever they are. From U.S. Special Forces to NFL teams, top MMA fighters, the Grace Barra, and your own local box, you can find dedicated users of the product.

  • Sold as a Pair
  • Instantly turn standard barbells and pull-up bars into axle bars (thick bars)

  • Fat Gripz fit virtually all barbells, dumbbells, chin-up bars and cable attachments in seconds – making the bar more than twice as thick
  • Made from a military-grade high-density compound, grip bar firmly and won't compress under any stress
  • Axle bars are part of so many WODs now that you can't afford not to master them
  • Applications: Olympic lifts, farmers walk, pull-ups, anything you can grab will be improved with greater hand and arm strength
  • Unlike an entire axle bar, Fat Gripz fit nicely in your gym bag for when you travel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from That Stupid PUMP! Never had a stupid pump on my fore arms. A stupid pump is when you get so much blood flow to specific muslces they swell and hurt do use them. I'm happy I got these, I wish I got them on black friday though. I use for DB farmers walk, cursl and tricep kick backs. Pump is like no other. Prepare to feel the burn!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a must in anyones arsenal I bought these thinking it would be a change to the work out. I found that I had to drop about 50% of the weight on my up right rows and other similar movements. Because my grip did not have the strength to hold on to a fat bar. I have been training with them now for about three years and love them. If you ever come up against an axle bar you will not get it off the gowned unless you know how to squeeze. Fat gripz teach you how to squeeze !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I was having problems with my wrists. I am a UPS driver and spend most days using my hands. After using the Fat Gripz on my arm and back days pain is gone. Not to mention my grip strength has increased significantly. Partly due to the fact that I can now squeeze the bar pain free. I don't write reviews often but this is a life changer for someone who works with their hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Effective, Painful In my fitness experience, the simplest tools are often the most effective. Fat Gripz are no exception. I use mine exclusively for pull-ups (usually weighted) and have found my grip strength has markedly increased. Furthermore, I've realized gains in many lifts. This has come at a cost of some initial tendon pain - golfer's elbow. But it is not something one can't treat at home with some rest, massage and mobility work. I highly recommend Fat Gripz to anyone who doesn't want to be a wuss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unreal Gym Arsenal Get these if you want to get stronger and larger! Great to add to a deadlift bar, curls and especially the Famers Carry w/ Dumbbells or pullups/chins. Add this to your workout, gym bag and/or home gym and you won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective Overall Product I've used this set of Fat Gripz for four training sessions now, and they do make you reassess how strong you think you are. They are a very useful tool, but the one thing that I'm a little disappointed with is the fact that they don't completely close when over a standard olympic barbell. Not much to gripe about, I just assumed they would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Piece Of Equipment I Ever Bought Fatgripz are the best piece of equipment I have ever bought. They make training with barbell, dumbbells, pullup bars so much more functional. My arms are so much stronger after using them for just 3 months. I arrived at training a few weeks ago and realized I left my fatgripz at home..... so I drove back to get them lol. They are THAT good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for Growth These things are great for putting on mass. In just a month, I put about 3/4" on my arms and 1" on my chest. Maybe it was the workout plan that came with it, but you can definitely feel the difference across the muscle group you're training. These may not be for everyone, but I'm a fan.
