Rogue C-70 Bar
Rogue C-70 Bar
Description produit
Rogue’s original “shorty” bar, the Rogue C-70 Bar is a shortened version of our flagship Ohio Bar, utilizing a multipurpose knurl pattern and dual knurl marks. This compact bar allows you to perform all strength movements and accessories needed from a barbell; from squats, bench presses, and deadlifts to Olympic lifts- clean and snatch, and everything in between in the tight spaces of a home gym or busy training facility.
EFFICIENCY MEETS FUNCTIONALITY
The compact design doesn’t equate to lifting light weight. With a loadable sleeve length of 12" this bar has the capacity for (4) 45lb competition style bumpers or (8) 45lb standard iron plates on each end, while still leaving ample room for collars. While the 43” spacing between the sleeves doesn’t allow this bar to be racked on traditional power racks or squat stands, you can use this on squat stands with independent bases, like our S-4 Squat Stand. This barbell allows for a wide range of strength movements all within limited space constraints.
For those looking to maximize the weight on shorter sleeves, the Rogue USA Olympic Plates or Rogue LB Calibrated Plates will allow you to exceed a 700lb+ total bar load.
CRAFTED FOR VERSATILITY
Every C-70 Bar is specially machined and assembled in Columbus, OH using US steel that has been proven optimal for both Olympic lifting and Powerlifting. The 190,000 PSI tensile strength shaft features dual knurl marks for Olympic Weightlifting (IWF) and Powerlifting (IPF), and our signature Ohio knurling pattern that is carefully refined for a solid yet non-abrasive grip suitable for multi-purpose strength training.
UNMATCHED REPUTATION
For over a decade, Rogue has set the industry standard as making the best and most durable barbells. With the Rogue C-70 edition, we've taken our flagship barbell to new heights, delivering one of our most versatile bars to date. This bar represents more than just the Rogue brand. Its name is a testament to where we work, who we are, and the pride we feel in continuing to make the best weightlifting bars in the market.

Comment c’est fait :
Rogue Work Hardening
Our patented, proprietary process more than doubles the durability and lifespan of the barbell shaft compared to our competitors.
FIT AND FINISH
The black zinc coating used on the Rogue C-70 Bar is a tried and true coating for barbells, offering resistance to corrosion while being thin enough to not take away from the feel of the knurl.
BRIGHT ZINC SLEEVE COATING
A bright zinc finished sleeve contrasts with the black zinc shaft, adding both oxidation resistance and a classic look to the bar.
State-of-the-art Gauging
We use gauging normally employed in the aerospace industry to ensure that every bar that makes it to a customer is exactly as designed.
Durabilité de la barre
RUST RESISTANCE
F SCALE™ APPLICATION
How a barbell is used will affect its durable lifespan and it's a key factor in determining what type of F Rating™ might be suitable for your gym's needs. This graph correlates the F Rating™ of a barbell with different types of usage in order to predict the durable lifespan. Using this data, we are able to make recommendations on what F Rating™ is appropriate for different training situations. With a rating of F8-R, the Rogue C-70 Bar is rated to last 16 years in a high volume CrossFit gym and will outlast a lifetime of lifting in an Olympic Weightlifting gym, a home gym or a Powerlifting gym.

MULTI-PURPOSE BARBELL
Multi-Purpose Barbell: Designed to work well for both Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting and everything in between.
F-RATING
Our barbells are tested by a third-party to determine their F-Rating, or fatigue resistance, which is a measured representation of the durability of the barbell.
BARBELL BUSHINGS
Precision bronze bushings provide reliable fast spin while being exceptionally durable when subjected to impact from being dropped.
WHAT IS ROGUE WORK HARDENING?
Rogue Work Hardening (RWH) is our patented process for treating the shafts of our barbells to improve their durability.
BARBELL WEIGHT
A 35LB version of our Ohio Bar to save on space
BARBELL WHIP
The amount of springback provided by the bar that can be used by the lifter to increase the weight they can lift in dynamic movements.
BARBELL DIAMETER
The 28.5mm diameter falls directly between the 28mm Olympic and 29mm Powerlifting standard diameters.
MADE IN THE U.S.A.
Made from US steel, the Rogue C-70 Bar is machined and assembled at the Rogue factory in Columbus, OH.
TENSILE STRENGTH
Expressed in PSI, tensile strength measures the maximum weight a barbell can support before deforming. The 190K tensile strength falls within the optimal range of not bending under normal use, yet not been inflated to the point that it will shorten the life of the bar
BARBELL KNURLING EXPLAINED
Our signature knurl, designed for multi-purpose use, provides a firm grip without being abrasive. This falls in the middle of the road on the knurl scale, striking a balance without being overly aggressive or passive.

Key Features of the Rogue C-70 Bar:
Space-Saving Efficiency
The advantages of a short bar go well beyond competition lanes. In large gyms, the design of the C-70 allows more athletes to train simultaneously, and in a cramped garage gym, the shorter shaft saves on space while the 12” loadable sleeve length still lets you load up the weight.
Fit and Finish
The Rogue C-70 Bar is manufactured in the US using 190,000 PSI tensile strength steel and has been proven to be one of the best steel variants for a multi-purpose barbell. Each barbell shaft is ground and polished prior to machining which allows the bar to have a very smooth finish. The black zinc finish is a tried and true coating for barbells, offering resistance to corrosion while being thin enough to not take away from the feel of the knurl.
