“Benni” Magnusson is regarded by almost everyone as the strongest deadlifter in the world, and excitement is already building for what he may pull in the Tire Deadlift at this year’s ASC contest. Benedikt holds the official world record (WPO) for the heaviest deadlift in history at 1016 pounds and when he last competed in the Arnold in 2008, he wowed the crowd with his pulling power when he became the first man to deadlift 500 kg (ll00 kg).
