The GORUCK Rucker® 5.0 is a purpose-built training rucksack designed specifically for weighted rucking, conditioning, and loaded workouts. OPTIMIZED WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
Dual elevated Ruck Plate pockets keep weight positioned high and tight against the body, improving posture, comfort, and load distribution. Dual elevated Ruck Plate pockets secure the load in place while reducing shifting during movement.
A built-in frame sheet maintains pack structure under load, while oversized lumbar support and dual-density padded shoulder straps improve comfort during long rucks, workouts, and higher-volume training.
The Rucker supports up to two internal Ruck Plates with a total carrying capacity of up to 75LB.
BUILT FOR RUCKING & RUCK PT
The Rucker 5.0 is designed for more than loaded walking. Four padded handles allow the pack to be used for suitcase carries, presses, lunges, rows, twists, and other ruck-based conditioning work. The Rucker supports up to two internal Ruck Plates with a total carrying capacity of up to 75LB.
External MOLLE webbing allows for additional customization and compatibility with accessories like the optional padded hip belt, while the highly water-resistant 1000D CORDURA® construction is built to handle daily training indoors or outdoors.
Magnetic internal storage pockets provide quick, secure access without zippers or Velcro®, and the clamshell opening design makes packing, loading plates, and organizing gear simple.
COMFORT-FOCUSED UPDATES FOR 5.0
Version 5.0 introduces a significantly larger lumbar support pad designed to better support the spine’s natural curvature under load, especially during longer sessions or heavier carries.
Additional upgrades include magnetic internal storage closures for quieter, smoother access and a skin-friendly 210D HT CORDURA® back panel designed to reduce friction against apparel and skin during movement.

Ruck Plate Compatibility
GORUCK RUCK PLATE COMPATIBILITY
Keeping weight high and tight on your back is key for effective rucking. It helps maintain posture and reduces strain on the lower back. Both the 20L and 25L Rucker feature dual elevated padded pockets to hold the load securely in the optimal position.
Short Pocket: Fits 10LB, 20LB, or 30LB Standard Ruck Plates.
Long Pocket: Built for 30LB or 45LB Long Ruck Plates (but will securely hold any Standard Ruck Plate).
Total Capacity: Use both pockets to carry up to 75LB of Ruck Plates.
Note: High stress points are strength tested at over 400LB. The Rucker is capable of holding more weight than any human should ruck with.
