Rogue B&R Bar 2.0

Rogue B&R Bar 2.0
Description produit
Version 2.0 of the B&R Bar is built to the specifications of the bar’s original designers—strength training coaches Mike Burgener and Mark Rippetoe—with some enhancements from Rogue’s in-house manufacturing team. Along with custom-tailored dual knurl marks for Olympic lifting and powerlifting, the bar features a center knurl, a stronger 205,000 PSI shaft, and snap ring design. Quality bronze bushings produce a smooth, reliable spin, and the natural steel creates a great, old-school look and feel that few finishes can compete with. Engineered to be a versatile barbell, the Rogue B&R Bar 2.0 is ideal for core lifts—the squat, bench, and deadlift due to its 29MM shaft diameter, but can also be used for the Olympic lifts—clean and snatch, and everything in between.
CRAFTED FOR EXCELLENCE IN COLUMBUS, OH
Each B&R Bar 2.0 undergoes precise machining and assembly in Columbus, OH, utilizing US steel specifically selected to achieve an optimal blend of flexibility for Olympic lifts and stability for heavy powerlifting. The 205,000 PSI tensile strength shaft is equipped with dual knurl marks tailored for Olympic Weightlifting (IWF) and Powerlifting (IPF), along with our distinctive Ohio knurling pattern providing a solid yet non-abrasive grip suitable for multi-purpose strength training.

Best In Class Durability
Engineered to withstand the increased demands that functional movements and Olympic lifts place on barbells today through overhead drops. Read more here.
Low Profile Sleeve Design
Our new low-profile sleeve design makes loading and unloading plates easier than ever. Bare steel shaft is paired with matching bare steel sleeves for a consistent look end to end.
2X QUIETER PERFORMANCE
Refined with even stricter tolerances, precision-machined bronze bushings fit tighter around the shaft, and improved internal sleeve tolerances dampen sound and eliminate unwanted movement, ensuring a smoother and more stable lift.
Please Note: Like any fine piece of machined steel, the bare steel on the B&R Bar will require some upkeep. Occasionally brushing the bar down with 3-in-1 oil or WD-40 will create a beautiful patina look. This is how bars were made for decades and it really does produce an unmatched feel.
Comment c’est fait :
FRICTION WELDING
The collars of the sleeves are friction welded, creating the strongest sleeves in the industry. This bond is as strong as if machined from a single piece of steel, while saving on waste and cost.
Rogue Work Hardening
Our patented, proprietary process more than doubles the durability and lifespan of the barbell shaft compared to our competitors.
State-of-the-art Gauging
We use gauging normally employed in the aerospace industry to ensure that every bar that makes it to a customer is exactly as designed.
Durabilité de la barre
RUST RESISTANCE
F SCALE™ APPLICATION
How a barbell is used will affect its durable lifespan and it's a key factor in determining what type of F Rating™ might be suitable for your gym's needs. This graph correlates the F Rating™ of a barbell with different types of usage in order to predict the durable lifespan. Using this data, we are able to make recommendations on what F Rating™ is appropriate for different training situations. With a rating of F8-R, the B&R Bar 2.0 is rated to last 16 years in a high volume CrossFit gym and will outlast a lifetime of lifting in an Olympic Weightlifting gym, a home gym or a Powerlifting gym.

MULTI-PURPOSE BARBELL
Designed to work well for both Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting and everything in between.
F-RATING
Our barbells are tested by a third-party to determine their F-Rating, or fatigue resistance, which is a measured representation of the durability of the barbell.
BARBELL BUSHINGS
Precision bronze bushings provide reliable fast spin while being exceptionally durable when subjected to impact from being dropped.
WHAT IS ROGUE WORK HARDENING?
Rogue Work Hardening (RWH) is our patented process for treating the shafts of our barbells to improve their durability.
BARBELL WEIGHT
20KG is the standard for most Powerlifting Federations, Men's Olympic Weightlifting and Men's CrossFit competitions.
BARBELL WHIP
The amount of springback provided by the bar that can be used by the lifter to increase the weight they can lift in dynamic movements.
BARBELL DIAMETER
29MM is the standard diameter used across Powerlifting federations.
MADE IN THE U.S.A.
Made from US steel, the Rogue B&R Bar 2.0 is machined and assembled at the Rogue factory in Columbus, OH.
TENSILE STRENGTH
Expressed in PSI, tensile strength measures the maximum weight a barbell can support before deforming. The 205K tensile strength falls within the optimal range of not bending under normal use, yet not been inflated to the point that it will shorten the life of the bar.
BARBELL KNURLING EXPLAINED
Our signature knurl, designed for multi-purpose use, provides a firm grip without being abrasive. This falls in the middle of the road on the knurl scale, striking a balance without being overly aggressive or passive.
