We developed Rogue Nunchuck Grips as a dynamic new type of grip training tool, machined from portions of our own raw barbell steel.
Available to order as a basic pair or as a set with (2) Desert Tan Grip Straps and (2) carabiners, these versatile grips can be setup quickly for pull-ups or arranged in a fashion across a rig as a challenging, vertical monkey bar course. Users can also test their grip strength by attaching a kettlebell to the Nunchucks for the Farmer’s Walk and other movements.

We developed Rogue Nunchuck Grips as a dynamic new type of grip training tool, machined from portions of our own raw barbell steel.
Available to order as a basic pair or as a set with (2) Desert Tan Grip Straps and (2) carabiners, these versatile grips can be setup quickly for pull-ups or arranged in a fashion across a rig as a challenging, vertical monkey bar course. Users can also test their grip strength by attaching a kettlebell to the Nunchucks for the Farmer’s Walk and other movements.
The Nunchuck Grips come in two standard lengths—Short (7.5”) and Long (12”)—and five different diameter options, each with a specific knurl texture. This enables any athlete to custom-select the ideal fit and feel, or to alternate between different grips depending on the workout. Since there’s no plating on the handles, the raw steel also helps the user experience the knurling in its “true form,” with either a standard or aggressive grip, depending on the diameter.

Great idea, but quickly rusts.
Lots of fun to use, adds great pull-up variations, but they get real rusty real quick. I’m in Austin Tx, using them in my garage.

Function is great but quality is very poor
Have had them for less than 2 months and the coating is wearing away as well as the knurling is rusting. I have the Rogue barbell cleaning kit but that wont restore deteriorated coating.

Thank you for posting a review of our Nunchuck Grips! These are constructed out of Raw Steel so there will not be any coating on them. Since there’s no plating on the handles, the raw steel also helps in experiencing the knurling in its “true form,” with either a standard or aggressive grip, depending on the diameter.
For pull-ups and more
First got the 25mm then the 29. Like both. Knurling is excellent. Using mine for inverted rows, pull-ups and also one or two arm lifts. Attached to swivels (GM brand from Amazon) for super smooth rotation which is helpful for the hand and wrist therapy I am doing.

Like the concept and utility but the RUST
Still using it all the time and amazing for grip strength. For a racket sports player, it’s super functional. I know it can get humid down in FL but this layer of rust showed up in days, not weeks, and is pretty tough to remove. Keeping it either way!

Rust
After using three times handles already starting to rust, used in a garage gym that doesn’t have much moisture so not sure the issue, only one handle other still looks brand new

Really difficult to do pull-ups
These nunchucks are high quality, and look and feel great. I can see Bruce Lee using them for war. I purchased them to add variety to my pull-ups, but I found them to be extremely difficult! Not Rogue's fault of course, but just wanted to warn people how much grip strength is required to do pull-ups with these. I can normally do about 10 pull-ups in good form, but with these I can only do 3 before my grip strength gives out. I lost motivation, so I put them away. But after a year, I'm willing to try them again. I also purchased cannon balls with these, and they are crazy hard too. These tools are ninja warrior level stuff.

The grip that don’t quit!
Awesome value and addition to grip training. The knurling is amazing and your hand grip will quit before the knurl grip!

These are excellent pull up attachments!
They're really strong and work great!
I only have a straight pull up bar at home so this gives a different option, plus you can hang them in allot of different places.
