Monster Lite to Infinity Retrofit Kit - Pair

Rogue Adjustable Monolift – Monster Lite

The Rogue Adjustable Monolift attachment is a great cost-efficient alternative to expensive, full-scale monolift units, giving athletes a way to perform heavy-weight squats and other lifts without having to walk the bar out from the rack.

Sold in pairs, this version of the Monolift system is designed for use with 3x3" Monster Lite racks and rigs, but can also be easily retro-fitted for the 2x3" Infinity Series using an optional adapter kit.* Once set up, the Monolift's redesigned, J-Cup-style pin system allows for easier height adjustments and quicker transfers from one athlete to the next. We’ve also reduced the overall size of the brackets and added new UHMW plastic liners to better protect the bar’s knurl and finish.

Each Adjustable Monolift set includes a pair of rack-mounted brackets with 0.75" thick steel jaw hooks. These hooks are built with special counterweight handles at the top, so when you lift a barbell off the Monolift, the hooks will swing several inches back toward the rack and stay there. This clears up enough extra space to go straight into your workout, and also enables safe re-racking, as the slanted angle of the unloaded hooks makes it easy to guide the bar in, swinging the Monolift back into its original position. A pair of 0.625" hitch pins is also included in every order to lock the unit into place and prevent any unwanted swinging out.

Height adjustments can be made in increments as small as 1", and with Rogue’s unique design—featuring a “backstop” bolt above each primary hook bolt—the Monolift cannot move further away from the rack while the user is setting up. This feature is not found on comparable attachments on the market.

Please Note: While the Rogue Monolift Attachment can be safe for solo use, it’s always recommended to have spotters available for heavier lifts. Rogue also highly recommends mounting the Monolift to a rack or rig that’s securely fastened to the floor and/or wall.

*Infinity Series Retro-Fit Kit: Owners of an Infinity rig or rack can add this kit to their order via the column on the right. It includes 4 UHMW plastic pieces and 8 screws to secure the plastic to the clasp of each unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ADD-ON, but..... These are a great addition to the rack or stand, if you have a few hundred $$ to spare. Consider it a luxury item. Although not necessary, IMO, they are a beefy solid well built add on. The only downfall is, and I wish Rogue will do this, the end of the J hook is pretty marginal. 3/4” knub I believe. It’s design is just enough to catch the bar. I’ve slipped a couple times re-racking the bar. Would be nice to have an additional 1/4”.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impressive as always. I was hesitant to purchase the Monolift attachment for my rogue rack, but really glad I did. I wasn't sure it would be worth the price tag, but as usual rogue stuff is built like a tank. My only gripe is that they charge $47.40 for a couple pieces of plastic in order for this to fit the rogue rack that I have. Considering I already purchased a rack from this company I was really disappointed to see that I had to purchase something additional to make this fit, then when I saw the pieces of plastic that I paid the better part of fifty bucks for I thought it was a pretty lame move on the part of rogue. I have purchased a ton of rogue stuff, and this was the first thing to really let me down. I still have to give it four stars, because if it wasn't for feeling cheated it'd be a solid five.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works on my Giant Lifting squat stand I got this to help my bracing on bench press by eliminating the lift off. I use it on a Giant Lifting squat stand. It’s a 3” rack. The holes don’t align perfectly; so, the safety pin won’t insert; but it isn’t necessary. I am really glad I got this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition... with a specific caveat Bought these a few weeks ago, and really like them. At first it is strange not to step backwards to squat and not to lift out to bench, but now I wouldn't change. I can reiterate all the positive comments others have already made, but instead I'll point out the only negatives I have encountered (which are far outweighed by the positives). One "negative" is that the monolift pegs are (initially, at least) a tight fit into the holes; add to that the fact that they weigh nearly 30lbs apiece and it's a bit more challenging to put them in place at eye level or higher. That being said, I've already noticed the pegs slide in easier with repeated use. Two: watch your head getting into and out of the bench press position, because the bar will sit positioned directly over your chest before you start and will swing back to that spot after you rack it. Three is an absolute negative, but only applies to those who plan to use the monolift arms on an HR-2 Half Rack with the 90 & 70 inch sticks: the 17" crossmember supports connecting the sticks limit the height you can use for the monolift arms. For someone 5'11" the bolts for the crossmembers take up the holes you would ideally use for squatting. I haven't found any lower position on the sticks where the crossmember bolts won't either interfere with placement of the monolift arms or the safety spotter arms for my squat or bench - the front of these accessories cover 12 & 15" of the sticks, respectively. Going without the crossmembers definitely reduces the stability of the rack, so instead I bolted them at the highest possible level (using one bolt per side rather than two) and just start from a lower than ideal rack position in the squat. I will update this post if a better solution is found.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition I am quite pleased with my purchase of these monolifts. Nice and heavy, swing well, and give ample space while benching and squatting. I do have a couple complaints. On is that the monolifts themselves are very tight to get on the rack. The other issue I have is that the lower pin holes were not drilled accurately, so they do not line up correctly and I cannot use the pins. Since they are tight, however, I have no problem with movement. Overall, a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like them so much I bought a second pair I work out alone and use the monolift for benching in the 24" section of my RML-690. I love it for that purpose. The "adjustable" aspect of these monolifts is as advertised. They are pretty easy to adjust up and down the post of the power rack. However, they are heavy-ish, and I find them awkward enough to carry around that I find I really don't want to be moving them back and forth around the power rack as I go from squats to bench on the other side of the rack. After 5 months of owning the first monolift, I just bought another to use for squats. The 2nd monolift just arrived today, and I played around with it with an empty bar for squats. It's going to take a little getting used to. I found myself instinctively walking back the bar, but I look forward to breaking that habit during my first real workout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy these Always wanted a monolift and this is excellent. Heavy duty, as is all of the gear...so glad I bought the adjustable so I can move it easily for my wife and kids. SSB fits nicely. Mine worked very well out of the box, no adjustment needed. Swings smoothly. Really solid unit. Bought it for the SML-2C squat stands. I added the half rack and loaded it with two full sets of calibrated plates plus extra 25KGs, etc....also have chains and safety arms on the rack so not bolted to the ground but for all intents and purposes it's bolted down. I don't anticipate issues since Rogue does recommend your rack be anchored if you're using the monolifts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Setup adjustment is key I purchased these along with the RML 490 rack. I'm extremely happy that I did. Well worth the purchase price to never have to walk backwards while doing squats. A word of advice with regards to setting these up so that they swing freely. One of mine required the main bolt (the larger one) to be loosened in order to pivot freely. The other Monolift that I received required me to loosen both the main bolt AND the smaller bolt also. Once they were adjusted they both work perfectly. Extremely well built and solid as heck. I'd never go back to squatting with just J-cups. More than likely will start using them for when I bench also.
