Rogue Oly Lifting Straps

Rogue’s 10” Oly Lifting Straps are manufactured in Ohio using a nylon webbing sewn into a single closed loop. As with our Oly Leather Lifting Straps, the simple set-up and short overall length of these straps makes them ideal for quick-release movements like snatches.

Nylon weightlifting straps are generally more cost-efficient than leather and more durable than a lot of cotton straps on the market. They also have a unique texture and feel that some athletes prefer for getting a smooth, consistent release off the bar. We recommend testing out different types of straps to see which best match your needs and comfort level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! I’m a woman who lifts in a gym that’s freezing in the winter. These things are comfortable and make a huge difference when pulling heavy percentages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heat Quality These straps are simple and effective. Very easy to use and an absolute must for weightlifters. These are not the standard strap type and shouldn't be confused with them. I find these are a much better strap and have helped my snatch significantly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems solid, but why not left & right? Seems like a simple enough tool. Standard set of nylon lifting straps. However (as someone stated in a review for the leather straps), why aren't they made to be left and right hands? I learned that the stitching side of Oly Straps should be on the inside. I saw the other review stating these weren't that way, but figured, whatever, it's no big deal. It's just a loop. I can make it work. Well it does play a factor. I find it's tougher to get the strap to cinch up tight on the side where the stitching is on the outside of my hand. It doesn't seem to want to spin to the inside of the loop. It's a minor thing, but it seems it's a simple enough thing to fix on the manufacturing side that I felt I should write up a review as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Typical Rogue quality Great quality strap. Super sturdy. I use them for anything from heavy clean pulls to snatch complexes. They grip aggressively knurled bars very well and don't let go. It makes gripping those bars nearly effortless. Can't beat the price either. For under $15, it's as good as it gets.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent quality, but not what I was expecting. I bought these in April of 2015 to use when doing heavy pulls at the gym (if it helps I go to a strictly OLY gym). I had been borrowing a friend's "Ohio" lifting straps whenever pulls would come up, and I really liked those. I decided to get these though because I had heard that OLY lifting straps were better than power lifting straps if you planned to do any type of Snatches with the straps on seeing as they release much easier. These straps are excellently made, very durable, and definitely easier to release than traditional lifting straps. However, I feel like they release almost too easily. The nylon has a very smooth finish on it that I feel doesn't grip the bar well enough. The few times I have tried to use them on snatch complexes my hands end up sliding inward and I have to readjust my grip constantly. Also, on heavy pulls the strap tends to dig pretty hard into the base of your thumb/ wrist area. I had a couple of other people at the gym try them for a while and the consensus was the same- if you are going to be doing a lot of snatch complexes or overhead work then these are probably a safer and more appropriate option than traditional straps. But if you are going to use them mostly for heavy pulls with the occasional snatch complex then I recommend just getting "Ohio" lifting straps. If I could go back in time I would get "Ohio" straps instead and just not worry about straps on snatch complexes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality oly straps I've never owned oly style straps until now, just got them today and did deadlifts and snatches and they worked well and you can release them easier than regular straps
