Squat rack
The Instructions suck, it’s really heavy, and you’ll want to go buy a 1 1/2” impact socket for assembly, but I love it. It’s so nice having this at home. It’s built like a tank. I don’t ever expect to get rid of it. The flat feet are nice. You can probably put it just about anywhere. It does what it’s supposed to do very well. The numbered holes are a very nice touch.

Solid equipment. Assemble Instructions need work.
I'll start from how everything was received and then the actual assembly. How the rack was received: 1. I received 10 packages. Which should have been the end of everything. However, as the order listed 11 packages there was a strange back and forth with customer service about if I should receive 4 wrenches or 2. The 11th package should have never been on the list at all. Somehow the wrenches were duplicated in the order listing but corrected in the actual delivery. 2. The nuts, bolts, flat washer and lock washers are packaged in a single cardboard box that was taped up heavily. What's the problem? It's very heavy and everything is just loose in the box so it's like holding a heavy dough. The box naturally fell apart. Luckily nothing was lost during shipping however the presentation was sloppy. sending it in a plastic storage box(hopefully with section for each part type) would be better. Assembly: Instructions: The biggest gripe that I honestly didn't see in any of the reviews of this rack or any other rack seems to be the instructions. A single sheet of paper with the instructions printed on two sides. The instructions? A list of the parts and 2 assembly...yes TWO assembly steps. That's it. This makes the assembly way more difficult that it needs to be. You need to make proper instruction manuals for these. Even worse is that as some of the parts are clearly interchangeable with other racks you just shoved those instruction sheets in it too. Not okay. Rogue needs to prepare a proper QUALITY PAPER manual with clear instructions and detailed CLOSE UP pics of the assembly steps. Here's a hint at making an excellent one. Write some instructions and have people who know nothing about hardware attempt to assemble it without ANY directions from anyone. See their gripes while assembling and change the instructions to address their gripes. Then redo the whole thing with another group that doesn't understand hardware until you start getting great feedback on those instructions. For something so expensive I expected the instructions to be clearer. The assembly isn't complete and the shorter is impossible to install if you're using the wrench and washes as directed. IMPOSSIBLE. You need a powertool to be able to fit in there and properly tighten. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I wouldn't be doing it wrong if the instructions were clearer though now would I? also It feels like the instructions just added a needless complication instead of clearing things up as it should. Getting a power drill tomorrow to complete. Plus, I think they also need to add two times the flat washes to the number of bolts. The lock washes scratch the painting which isn't okay if you want to ensure there isn't rusting. The threading on the bolts and bolts are terrible. TERRIBLE. Please, I beg, get a smoother finish. Overall. The actual equipment is solid, apart from the threading on the nuts and bolts. The instructions need serious work and the packaging of the smaller loose parts need work too. To anyone buying this, get a power drill and a matching socket. You're in for a workout if you're gonna use the wrenches. Rogue, please do better.

Great overall
Great flat foot rack. Does not need to be bolted to the floor, it does not move at all when on rubber mats. It is very solid and I use it for bench, military press, squats. Glad I bought it. Easy to assemble, no complaints.

Worth the money
I had bought this for my son. He will be playing D1 Football this fall. So instead of traveling to the gym every other day; we had built one. The RM-390 is the center piece of it. The quality is top level. No complaints at all.

It's all good
After looking into getting a squat rack or stand all summer I decided to go with the Rogue Flat Foot Monster Lite. I didn't want to have to fasten the unit to the floor. It's a sold unit, I find it similar to many found in a commercial gym. I made a thin 8' X 6' platform using 4 3' X 4' 1/4" metal plates on top of 1/4" rubber mat to protect the wood floor and I used 2 6' X 4' 3/4" rubber mats on top of the metal. I would recommend the plate storage. It's convenient and adds more weight to the unit. Safety straps over the pin and pipe. You can also adjust the hight more easily by using asymmetric holes. If you are using the rack in a tight space you should get the straps as the pin and peg will need another 40" in front of the unit for clearance. Band pegs. Fun to use and also gives you the ability too "attach" tube bands to the uprights. Sandwich J-cups. Vinyl numbers. We have multiple people using it and have to adjust the J-cups often. It took about 1 hour to put together with two people. A third would be nice. Buy the wrench before assembly. I had to borrow one. The J cups are about 9" off the wall when the unit feet are up against a wall.
