The Westside Bench 2.0 w/ Fat Pad™
Westside Bench 2.0 Spotter Deck Set

Rogue Westside Bench 2.0

Available to order with either a 12" wide standard pad or 14.5" Thompson Fat Pad™, the fully updated Westside Bench is a heavy-duty juggernaut inspired by Westside Barbell’s original designs. This 1000+LB weight capacity bench is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, from 2x3" 11-Gauge, and now features a double-reinforced 7-gauge steel spine running underneath the pad—delivering maximum back support and reduced flex in the pad itself.

Version 2.0 of the Westside Bench also introduces a new bolt-together design (with 0.625" hardware), meaning the full unit can be sent via parcel rather than freight, saving the customer considerably on shipping costs.

The unit comes standard with Infinity J-cups, a 24” removable pin/pipe safety set, and side panels with laser-cut Rogue branding. There is 1" on-center hole spacing up the front and back of the uprights to allow for maximum height adjustability, meaning the standard 17.5" bench height can be moved up and down by 1" increments to serve a wide variety of athletes. Customers also have the option of adding elevated spotter decks that bolt onto the bench, giving spotters extra leverage and traction in case of a missed lift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality I bought this Bench a month ago, and it’s second to none. I highly recommend to anyone who’s serious about benching. Five stars hands down!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Built to train heavy Have a gym with multiple 400+ pound raw benchers. Bench is well liked and has held up well. The only downside is the fat pad doesn’t bolt into both ends. Still holds up and gets the job done- that’s the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bench Love this bench. Wondered if it would be a good use of resources and spaces in a home gym where I already have a rml rack. Definitely worthwhile as It frees up the rack and no setup and a better bench etc. Directions could be better but the rack takes up very little space... And is far better than any commercial gym bench Kress setup. Got the fat pad which is great and... The spotter stands. There are so many holes I used a white sharpie to label the holes all four posts front and back came up great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid as truck I lift at a gym most of the time, but have always had a dedicated bench press at home. I just never felt like I could go for big doubles or singles with the benches I had. I'm pushing over 500 raw and I now feel like I can do that kind of weight at home without a spotter. The safety pins are strong, I will definitely upgrade to the straps next, but the shipping cost is a little out of control right now. It would have cost an extra $100 in shipping for the spotter straps. Note to Rogue Fitness: you should definitely include an option to upgrade to the straps rather than the safety pins when you buy this bench. Otherwise, this bench is a tank and I look forward to a lifetime of use. One last thing. The fat pad is AMAZING! Never used it until I bought this bench, but the support you get from it at the bottom of your press adds a peace of mind that you can't beat. If you're in-between, just get it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Built to last I recently purchased this product and couldn't be happier with it. It is built to last and is highly functional. The only problem I had with the bench was securing the fat pad. The holes were not quite aligned. Otherwise I would have given this bench a 5. I don't think I will ever need to buy a new bench again. This is my first Rogue product and I am looking forward to future products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cadillac of Benches To go from a health club bench where I’m waiting for a group of high school kids goofing off to the Westside bench at my personal disposal in my garage is such a ridiculous turnaround. It’s the most self-indulgent thing I’ve done for myself as an adult. I could have just lived with my half-rack and portable bench but this makes benching with no worries at any time of day or night fully convenient. Stop hashing it over and buy this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the Best! I put off buying this for quite awhile, I figured why bother, I already have a Monster Lite rack wouldn't it be kind of redundant? Well actually, no. Like most working people I don't have hours to spend every day working out so I try and extract the most I can when in the gym. This bench provides a couple key benefits, It frees up a lot of time so you can just get in and lift. No more wasted time trying to get your bench lined up in the exact spot, resetting safeties, moving monolifts or jcups, etc. back and forth from squat day to bench. If you've ever pinched a finger moving the monolifts you know what I mean. I opted for the Fat Pad, I was a little hesitant about it before ordering as I have the AB2 bench and I like that pad just fine. The Fat Pad however is night and day. Rock solid and has a very grippy material. I did not get the spotter decks so I cannot comment on them, with the mono's I don't need a spotter. The Monster version looks nicer but lacks the Westside hole pattern which is a deal breaker for me. A couple things to note about the Westside bench. If you plan to use monolifts and the Fatpad you may find that there is not enough height on the posts if you are tall or have long arms. Monos require much more space on the uprights than the Jcups do. I'm 5'5 and have the bench portion on the lowest setting and only have one hole left above the mono's. My only negative thing to say about the bench is that I wish it came in a Monster Lite version. It's ridiculously sturdy as is and will survive a tactical nuke strike I just would like it to match the power rack and not be forced to buy the adapters for things like mono's to fit. I plan on purchasing 4 Monster Lite 90" uprights at some point and swap them in for additional plate storage among other projects. Overall an excellent purchase for me I just wish I had done it a lot sooner.
