SB-1 - Rogue Safety Squat Bar

Rogue Safety Squat Bar doesn't make squatting any easier.

The weight distribution is unique to this bar. Training with the Rogue Safety Squat bar is known to tax your anterior chain; the weight distribution falls between the front squat and the high-bar back squat to vary your power output training. This bar is a safer option for intense squat progressions or maximum load lifts. This bar is known to increase your maximum working weight when compared to the traditional back squat.

Important: For Collars that fit specialty bars like the SB-1, please see the Rogue Proloc™ 1 Magnet Collars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bar! I purchased this bar about a month ago and after some getting used to, it has become my go to for squats. I used to use the straight barbell for squats and afterward I would feel pain in my upper back and shoulders. But now with the safety squat bar, it evenly distributes the weight across my upper back and shoulders making for a more comfortable lift. I love the balance this bar gives me for weight distribution too. Over all an awesome purchase. Rouge again has come through. Ohio Strong!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me Shoulder issues prevent me from doing back squats. This is a heavy duty well designed product that works well. Even if you don't have shoulder issues I would recommend it. Really works your core as the bar wants to push you forward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safety Squat I bought this bar to replace a cheaper safety Squat bar I had. This is a decision I do not regret, the extra cost is well worth it as this bar is exceptionally well built, and very comfortable to use. Don't waste money on cheaper versions buy the best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As usual an aesthetically appealing product BUT I originally tried my first safety bar made by Elite FTS. Another great product. It’s not as aesthetically pleasing as the Rogue but it does the job and does it better than the Rogue. I’m definitely disappointed because is not something you can simply put in a box and ask for a refund. It’s 70lbs and lonnnnng. The big complain I have and every client I have that uses it is the pads and the distance between the handles. If you’re tall guy with broad shoulders this bar may work for you however for most (including myself) it sits very uncomfortable. The pads need to be bigger/softer and the handles bit need to be brought another inch each otherwise it sits right on your acromioclavicular joint.
