The Rogue Bar 2.0

This is the next generation of the 28.5MM Olympic bar that helped launch the revolution. Now fully machined and assembled at the Rogue factory in Columbus, Ohio, the Rogue Bar 2.0 represents the highest level of precision engineering with a wide range of new features—including stronger 190 PSI steel, durable composite bushings, and CNC-machined groove sleeves with customizable color bands, available here

Like the original flagship Rogue Bar, Version 2.0 still offers convenient dual knurl marks for both Olympic and powerlifting, with a black zinc coated shaft and bright zinc sleeves. The addition of a groove in the sleeve enables athletes and coaches to more easily identify and differentiate bars by changing out the bands. The bar comes standard with Rogue-branded bands, but you can swap them out with any of the additional color options available, or even use any custom, personalized band that matches the dimensions.

The Rogue Bar 2.0 is among the first in our arsenal to use composite bushings—a self-lubricating material often found in hi-tech aerospace equipment and military vehicles. For intense, high-rep training, these bushings dramatically minimize friction to both provide a reliable spin and help extend the shelf life of the bar itself.

The Rogue Bar helped us cement our reputation at the CrossFit Games and beyond, and we believe the Rogue Bar 2.0 is a worthy successor to that mantle.

*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

The Rogue Bar 2.0 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 124.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bar for the $$$ Thanks for the bar!! Have had it a few weeks now, much better than I expected for the price. A quality bar is the #1 piece of equipment to have, highly recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from solid bar poor finish I've had this bar in my commercial gym for just over two years. It's a solid bar, still straight as an arrow and spins well. However, the bar looks really old and worn because finish has mostly worn off where the bar contacts the body on cleans, squats, etc. The knurl near the ends has also worn off from contacting a few of our racks that have bare metal j-hooks and safety arms. That last part is not really the bar's fault, but I have some older high end bars from a different company that took the same abuse and still have knurl intact and finish looking new. For the money this is a solid bar, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a home gym, especially if used with a rack that has UHMW coating to protect the bar. For a commercial gym, I would choose something else, maybe one of the stainless bars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this Bar I've had this bar for over a month now, and can honestly say its fantastic. The knurling is aggressively appropriate, I don't have to chalk up to use the bar nor does it tear my hands up with cycling cleans/snatches. The bearings inside the shoulders (area where the plates go) spin's EXTREMELY smooth, more than I would have expected. Fit and finish is excellent quality, and should last a long time considering I purchased this for home use. What more can I say? I would recommend buying this barbell to anyone. I've used it at home and up at my local box, and it performs excellent in my opinion. Looking forward to the years to come with training with my Rogue 2.0

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent knurl, great whip This is the best bar I've found with excellent (aggressive, but reasonable) knurl and great whip for oly lifts. I find the whip on this bar more to my liking than the Ohio bar (which I've used a lot as well) and closer in experience to the actual Oly bar that is sold (which I've also used a lot). It's impossible to beat the quality on this sucker for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Bar But.... I want to say that I live the bar. It handles 600 plus lbs like a champ. However, the coating on the bar had almost completely scraped off due to normal racking and reracking. So that part of the bar is down to plain exposed metal. I did not expect this finish to be so delicate that it couldn't handle rubbing up and down a bar when being racked. However, the bar is very good I rated it 4 stars for the finish. My suggestion is to spend the $50 bucks more and get a stainless bar...it will be more than worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beauty! I was making do with a lesser bar for the last few years and finally decided to upgrade to this bar. As you notice in my pics I kind of have the Rogue theme going and that is for good reason. Of the seven or so grand worth of equipment I've purchased in the last two years I've never been let down by the quality. This bar continues that trend and I love everything about it. Grip is spot on without being overly aggressive, and the spin is great for a bushing bar. The rogue bands are a nice touch too. Unless you need the super spin of a bearings bar you should highly consider this one.
