2020 Arnold Strongman Classic – Bag Over Bar | Recap

Extended highlights from Event 2 of the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic, the “Bag Over Bar,” as re-broadcast on the CBS Sports Network. In this challenge, the competitors throw sandbags of ascending weight over a 15-foot high crossbar. The bag weight starts at 55 LB, increasing by 5 LB each round. Athletes have 30 seconds to complete each throw, and the man who successfully completes the heaviest throw wins. After falling behind Mateusz Kieliszkowski in Event 1, this would be a critical opportunity for “The Mountain” Hafthor Bjornsson to reclaim control.

The 2020 Arnold Classic took place the weekend of March 6-7 in Columbus, Ohio, and brought together 10 of the most accomplished Strongman athletes from around the world to compete in six events.
