Adidas Power Perfect 3
Pink / Chalk Pearl / Ash

The Men’s Power Perfect 3 from Adidas is a specially engineered, weightlifting-specific shoe equipped with a die-cut wedge midsole, integral heel support, and a hook-and-loop instep strap. The result is an optimized, stable platform suited to the needs of even the most high intensity weightlifter, with surprising comfort and breathability built in.

The Power Perfect’s derby construction produces unique, lateral lockdown support, while the lightweight synthetic upper and Adiwear outsole offer next level durability. This design is available here in a Pink / Chalk Pearl / Ash color scheme, with Adidas’s iconic three stripes along the side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Practically Perfect in Every Way The PP3 are the best lifting shoe I've ever owned. They grip the foot extremely well because of all the laces, and the eyelets ensure that the laces don't tear apart the shoe. The heel is very stable and has excellent grip. They aren't too heavy and are pretty easy to walk around in. I use them for squats, presses, bench, deadlifts, and the Olympic lifts. I also like the big toe box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic overall First pair of official squat shoes and I love them. Definitely adds balance and stability as well as a solid feel for those worried about compression. Name describes them perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Went half size down These are great but they do run a half size big. I normally wear a 10.5, watched a review and bought a 10, they fit perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for weightlifting. These shoes perform better and are more comfortable than my previous pair of Inov8 335. The heel is elevated enough to make achieving depth in the squat easier. Solid heel, supportive mid-foot, and flexible forefoot. True to size. I wear an 11.0-11.5 and the 11.5 fits me great. My only gripe is I wish the Velcro strap was a bit further down the shoe. Not a fan of the powder blue either, but then again I won’t have to worry about them being stolen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, sneaker-fit shoe, great value. Comfortable right out of the box. Toebox is a little wider than the Adipowers. Biiiig upgrade over the Powerlifts and presumably the original Power Perfect IIs as well, the upper is made out of a durable-feeling/looking synthetic leather, similar to the Romaleo 2s. Toebox area is a breathable mesh. Does not feel flimsy in anyway, but still pretty light and feels and fits like a sneaker (as opposed to the boot-like feel of the Romaleos and Adipowers). Outsole appears to be similar to what is used on the Romaleo 2s and Adipowers, and has good grip on wood platforms. Heel is the standard .75". Concerns about the compressibility of the EVA sole at heavy weights should be assuaged by many elite lifters (Artem Okulov, David Bedzhanyan, Oleksiy Torokhtiy) performing at the highest levels of sport in the Power Perfect IIs. If the heel does compress, it is not to an extent that it will take stability away from a 200kg+ clean or jerk or a 170kg+ snatch. I've competed in weightlifting since 2009 and I think these hold their own against the Adipower IIIs/Romaleo 2s, and really the main difference is whether you prefer a heavy, boot-like feel or a lighter, sneaker-like feel to your shoes for your lifts. There really is only very small degrees of difference between the big name weightlifting shoes but between the Romaleo 2s, the Adipowers, and these, I like the Power Perfect IIIs the most. They're comfortable, seem pretty durable, and look like gym shoes vs. space boots.
