I like the rack, I HATE the pin and pipe, I will purchase the safety strap.. I wish I would have bought a little cheaper rack but I’m happy with it overall

This is a review of the R4 Infinity series power rack. Overall the power rack is great. It is sturdy and was easy to construct. The directions are straightforward. There are plenty of accessories that make the rack versatile. The only drawback is that there are only pin safeties and no available drop safeties. I use the rack for both squatting and benching and the pins are not easy to change consistently. I'm a surgeon and doctor and health is priceless. Therefore, if I had to decide on which to rack to purchase, I would have bought a Monster rack because the drop safeties are available. However, this may be my unique situation and needs. I hope eventually drop safeties are available for the R4.

I bought this rack about 3 months ago. Love it. Very stable great for everything I’m using it for.

I have bought this rack about one month ago and, even though I bought it during the COVID-19 pandemic, it shipped within a week. It arrived in solid packaging which showed no damage and it was easy to assemble. Some of the parts of the rack did show some scratches (as if cardboard had scraped against it over and over), but nothing serious. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I can say that, even though I didn't bolt it down to the floor, it is very stable and you just simply notice the quality with everything (not wobbly or wiggly, the weight is distributed evenly over the feet of the rack). I went ahead and bought the safety strap system as well and I consider it a must now that I've used it for a while. It is MUCH easier to set the height as opposed to the pin pipe system, doesn't make an awful sound when the bar hits the straps and it doesn't damage the bar either. One thing that I do mind is that there is no option (as far as I know) to buy different J-hooks for this rack. The current J-hooks are fine, but the part of the J-hook that is more upright does not have any rubber on it. Basically, if you don't lift the bar high enough off the J-hooks, you hit the steel part and you damage both the J-hooks as well as your bar. I would suggest to buy J-hooks that are fully covered in protective rubber. Would have given the rack 5 stars, but the slight scratches on some of the parts and the inability to use different J-hooks made it 4. Overall very happy with this purchase!

I bought the R-4 power rack with the x-43 pull-up and the matador dip. This rack is SOLID! They shipped fast and had great communication. I went ahead and bought an echo bar because of how quick they responded to all of my questions. I’ll definitely be coming back for more Rogue equipment.

I just bought my Rogue R-4 Power Rack after months of research of cheaper options and several competitors to Rogue. I went with this rig based on Rogue's outstanding reputation for quality, fit and finish and modularity. I was not disappointed when my R-4 arrived on my driveway. Having a home gym was essential to me, as I live on a rural Iowa property. The R-4 is the centerpiece of that home gym. The R-4 is built like a tank with a big footprint; extremely stable. As you can see from the attached pictures, I already have a bunch of stuff hanging off of it. I will stress it, as I am 6', 245 lbs. I am still going to anchor the rig to my wall, as I have ceramic tile in my basement and drilling into the floor is not an option (if I want to stay married). I also purchased a Matador, Infinity Slinger, X-43M Multi-Grip Crossmember, Rope Attachment, Short Post Plate Storage pair and Rear Stabilizer Bar with my R-4. I have also since added a single Infinity Landmine, Triple Bar Storage Hanger and Long Post Plate Storage pair to meet my needs. Everything is built superbly and I expect I'll be using this system decades from now, based on how well it is designed. All of the attachments offer the best versatility and variety of exercise choices you can get for a small space. The R-4 Rig easily fits under my 9' basement ceiling even setting on an 8mm recycled rubber flooring with the Infinity Slinger mounted on top. Customer service was extremely helpful, walking me through what rig I needed based on my requirements. Although Rogue is more expensive than some of its competitors, I've chalked this up to "you get, what you pay for". The quality of their equipment is commercial quality at a reasonable price. It will pay for itself in 3-4 years, versus having a gym membership and no travel requirement to workout easily. I highly recommend their products to anyone who wants equipment that will last, be very versatile and very safe to use.

I work as a contractor and my work schedule is all over the place. I have the RogueR-4 Power Rack set up in my garage. I train when I need to, not when the gym is open. This is one tough machine as I work out the 300+ on bench and squats. I added the Rogue Monolift to help spotting and I can do everything I need to train and do it safely. My son (40’s) and his teenagers are now coming over and we train together.
