The Concept 2 Rower provides one of the more comprehensive, full-body workouts of any fitness machine. Engineered to last a lifetime, it's low impact enough for use in physical rehabilitation centers, and intensive enough to be used by the world's fittest athletes.
Features an advanced PM5 Performance Monitor, improved ergonomically designed handles, adjustable foot-rests, and a flywheel designed for smooth movement with minimal noise. The RowErg has a standard 14" seat height with an aluminum I-beam monorail and stainless steel track for a consistent back-and-forth slide. When done training, you can quickly break down the rower into two segments for storage or use the included caster wheels for easy transport. Rogue offers an optional space saving wall hanger.

PM5 Performance Monitor
"The PM5 is another leap forward in what a performance monitor can do. Track distance, speed, pace, calories burned, and watts—all presented on a clear, backlit display. Connects to wireless heart rate monitors and via bluetooth to the optional ErgData app to track detailed workout data. The monitor itself can be custom positioned using the adjustable monitor arm. USB flash drive compatible and built for machine-to-machine racing.

Flywheel and Damper
The Concept 2 uses air resistance generated by the fanned flywheel. To adjust how much air enters the flywheel housing on each stroke, the RowErg Rower, formerly Model D, includes a unique spiral damper adjustable from a setting of 1 to 10. This functions much like the gears on a bike, affecting how much energy will be needed to accelerate from one stroke to the next. 10 allows in the most air for more wind resistance. For most people the recommended settings is from 3-5.

Storage and Mobility
The RowErg is mobile, and easy to store. You can quickly breakdown the entire unit into two compact sections using the quick release, framelock mechanism (no tools needed), and caster wheels enable the easy movement of the entire rower from one end of a gym to the other. Solid equipment
This thing is amazing, I bought this purely due to the weight limit, I started using this a little over a month ago at 402 pounds, currently down to 377, this thing is solid, and ridiculously easy to put together. I highly recommend this for any of the larger people out their trying to find something that can support their weight and begin making a lifestyle change. Only thing I don't like is being on the bigger side, the feet straps are a bit of a challenge to secure properly and seem to come loose a little bit during the work out which can be a little uncomfortable or distracting, but aside from that I absolutely love it.

BEST TOTAL BODY WORKOUT!!!
We actually bought our Concept 2 RowErg a little over a year ago and absolutely love it. We used one at our rec center and wanted one for home. We are in our early 60's and have worked out for years staying fit. Honestly, there is no other form of workout that targets your full body and it's a fun workout. It keeps you motivated and challenging yourself to go further and longer. Sturdy, well made piece of equipment and well worth the money. We have recommended it to several folks!

I’ve had this rower 2 weeks the pm5 screen locked up and won’t come off the single calorie set calories screen for $1000 I thought it would last a little longer than 2 weeks the rower it’s self is built well

Someone finally gets it!
This review is not so much about the product itself as it has already proven itself overtime through the CrossFit games and countless other events. This review is for the packaging of the rower. I have never had a package that was so easy to open and so easy to throw away, and I know if I ever had to return it… which I am confident that I won’t it, it would be as easy to repackage as it was to unpackage! Which in today’s world is usually not the case. So whether this is Rogue’s or Concepts doing, thank you both for making my life easier for at least one day! Also, it took about 2 minutes to set up the rower itself! So please pardon my French when I say…., keep that s*#t up!

Easy to use, total workout
As a runner I used to cross train mostly with a Peloton. While at the FIRST running retreat the coaches introduced and turned me into the erg. It’s a great way to add variety and to my routine, and I’ve seen myself improve over the past month. It’s easy to use, uploads to Strava and the interactive loop on the app is a fun way to just row and have fun. The coaches had nothing but good things to say about quality of these machines and I agree.
