Competition Ring Straps

The next reinvention of gymnastics ring straps is here. First seen at the 2011 CrossFit Games, the athletes and judges loved this system.

There is no better strap system on the market and we've made it available in both 8' and 6', working perfectly with the typical 12' or 9' upright heights. The carabiner and hook system allows for 3" adjustments; this allows for exacted lengths, preventing the need for minute adjustments. The absence of the strap clip can also prevent the arm abrasions and cuts characteristic of an intense ring training session.

The competition strap system comes complete with two of our new straps, two of our industry-leading Rogue wooden rings, and four D-shaped carabiners. The carabiners are bent-gate locking, each with a closed-gate load bearing strength of at least 18 KN, 4046LBf. You can't go wrong with this new competition strap system. They've been approved by the fittest on earth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing in every way. Great quality. Great construction. Very clever design. I love them. The only downside is that they do not pack as tightly as normal cam buckle straps But it's a small price to pay for a better more resilient design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have These are a force multiplier for the already awesome Rogue rings. The set-up, adjustment, take-down, and storage is dead simple and quick in comparison to standard cam-buckle straps. The only edge the standard straps have is in dealing with very tall anchors that you can't reach, or anchors that aren't level, like tree branches, so it's good to have a pair of those around, but otherwise they're a pain. If your bar isn't level, make it level! I have a doorframe pullup bar I wedged with some Gorilla tape to level out. I highly recommend buying the 8' straps. I primarily use my rings in on a doorframe bar that's short enough that I could use the 6' straps and still do pushups on the rings. When I have them doubled up to do dips or rows, I have about 2' of extra strap, go figure. So the 6' would be "perfect". However, that excess is so easy to stow, in so many ways, especially with the carabiners. It's nothing like the ridiculous excess of the cam-buckle straps. And, that extra comes in handy when using the rings elsewhere and doing other inventive things with the straps. I wish Rogue numbered each loop, but it was easy enough to do by myself with a silver sharpie. It's stayed on great, and I highly recommend that mod. These straps make it very easy to remove just the rings so that you can quickly use them for unconventional things: do "ring grip" pushups, use them as resistance band handles, self massage tool, etc. The straps also enable a variety of unexpected uses: use your rings as plate farmer's carry straps, use the carabiners as door anchors for TRX-type exercises with no bar, wrap the rings around the bottom of a door as heel hooks to do Nordic hamstring curls by yourself. Be creative!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to get level I bought these straps a little while ago and I am very satisfied with my purchase. They are easy to get level because of the straps and since I take them with me to travel I have an easy time setting up anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome straps I replaced my old tension straps with these and they are awesome! I have no fear doing inverted hangs or skills with these straps. I also like not having to readjust to get them even, much simpler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I ordered the Rogue Competition Straps as they were more durable then regular cam buckle straps and easier to adjust. I noticed some reviews said the straps were off a bit and the same thing happened to me. I don’t fault a company because no one is perfect. I go by how they handle it. I sent emails to Rogues support team and they responded pretty fast for a big company. They asked me to send pictures and once that was verified they sent me new ones right away. Very professional, fast service and I highly recommend them. As for the actual product, I love it. I ordered these straps with the metal rings and I am very happy with them. I use it almost everyday as I only train calisthenics. IF these ever break(which I don’t see happening for years) then I will definitely be ordering another pair. I feel way more safe on these and it is very well built(heavy duty). Don’t hesitate on buying these especially if you train calisthenics. Amazing product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product Rings are perfect, straps are great but some of us might need longer straps (We have a really high floor to ceiling height... But other than that perfect. T-shirts are cool and fit nicely, we'll see how they fit after washing.
