Nike Men's Metcon 2 - Total Crimson / Racer Blue / Black / White

New for 2016, the Nike Metcon 2 updates one of the most popular cross-training shoes on the planet with a new range of color options and features. From the low-profile TPU heel clip to the grooved, max-traction forefoot, Metcons are built to provide stability on heavy lifts, flexibility on sprints and climbs, and optimal comfort for distance runs and day-to-day abuse.

As with the original Metcon, attention to detail sets the Metcon 2 apart from other athletic footwear. An abrasion-resistant film around the midfoot is critical to reducing heat and friction during a high octane training regimen, and Nike’s lightweight Flywire cables help maintain a strong support structure without the bulkiness of some other leading cross-trainers. Metcons also deliver dependable traction that performs on the gym floor, the track, and training grounds far off the beaten path.

  • Men’s Cross-Training Shoe
  • Low profile, max-support heel for stability and minimizing drag
  • Drop-in midsole & rubber forefoot grooves for greater flexibility and traction
  • Breathable, abrasion-resistant film guards against high heat and friction
  • Lightweight Vectran filaments (Flywire) for optimal structure and support
  • Color: Total Crimson / Racer Blue / Black / White

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking shoe Love the metcons, I have the 1st metcons and 2 pairs of the 3s in size 8...these for some reason are to snug for me in a size 8.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them! These shoes are really good to train in. I've had them for over a year and they are still in great condition. With that being said, I've never owned a pair of shoes that has lasted this long considering the amount of intense training I do. These are great for crossfit, lifting, cross-training, and etc. However, I do not wear these shoes to run in because there isn't enough cushion for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade from the Metcon 1 Wore the first version for about a year doing the basic CF stuff: jumps, sprints, lifts. Realized that the shoe has great lateral stability and started wearing them for tennis as well. My pair was well-made and didn't have any structural issues, with the exception of a really annoying squeak when walking. Just upgraded to the Metcon 2 and it is definitely an improvement. Forefoot seems less boxy and it retains all the other features from the 1. Slight improvement in the heel as well. Will buy another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality and Results I've had my pair for about five months now. I haven't had any problem with my shoes at all. They've been amazing for me. The netting hasn't come loose or any other part of the shoe. They feel very comfortable and supportive when I'm working out or running. I'm trying to think of any negatives to make a balanced review, but can't really come up with any. They did take a week or two to break in, but I feel like it's the same with any shoe. Love my Metcons

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shoe Dye Bleeds These shoes are way to expensive for the pink to bleed onto the white when you sweat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shin splints Shin splints. Like wearing wood planks. Had to go back to softer shoes

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Creaky, noisy shoe I really love the look of this shoe and it is very comfortable. However, this is the loudest shoe I have ever owned. Every step creates a terrible, creaky noise. It sounds like I'm walking around with plastic bags for socks. Maybe I got a bum pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Metcons falling apart...? You know that you can send Nikes back if they fall apart like that as long as you have the box that they came in... I have had a pair of 1 and 2s and neither have fallen apart. They look great and are perfect for workouts.. if you have a long run get running shoes.
