Nike Metcon 4 XD - Men's
Cool Gray / Dark Gray / Wolf Gray / Black

The Men’s Metcon 4 XD cross-training shoe, available here in gray with black and wolf gray accents, introduces a new lightweight, breathable mesh fabric, complemented by durable, 3D-printed reinforcement from heel to toe. The shoe’s TPU heel counter provides stability for lateral movements like side lunges and shuttle drills, while a flat platform and sticky rubber forefoot create a stable base and reliable traction for heavy lifts.

The Nike Metcon's innovative flywire cables are integral to the design’s support structure, and incorporate with the laces of the 4 XD for a dynamic fit. An updated, drop-in midsole is also firmer in the heel and softer in the forefoot, meaning you get more stability when lifting and more flexible cushioning when running.

Nike's Metcon series remains on the cutting edge when it comes to all-purpose, all-terrain footwear for cross-training. For athletes who need a strong launch foundation for lifts, grip for rope climbs and box jumps, and lightweight comfort for everyday fitness, the Metcon 4 XD covers it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Looking Shoe...Better Performance I bought this shoe about a month ago to replace my worn out Metcon 3's and can't stop raving about their performance and durability. Right off the bat, these shoes felt sturdy and the 3D printed reinforcement really helps with the durability when performing box jumps or rope climbs. I've gotten many compliments on the look of the shoe and can't believe I snagged these on sale. Worth buying if you can't wait for the Metcon 5's especially since these are on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Cofortable! This pair of Metcon's is my most comfortable pair yet! I have 2 pairs of 1's, 2 pairs of 2's, 1 pair of 3's(second favorite) and 2 pairs of regular 4's. These are by far the most comfortable pair I have worn yet! They feel like they hug my feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WEARING THESE FOREVER I bought these and some under armor ones to compare. I had been wearing metcon 2s the last two years and loved them, but didn’t like how wide they were on my feet. I decided to give this model 4 a go since they just held up so amazingly. I LOVE THEM. I am a woman and purchased the men’s shoes in my size. As soon as I put them on I knew these were going to be my go to shoe for the years to come. They aren’t AS wide in the foot, and fit comfortably. If you do HIIT and weightlifting, you’ll love these. So fricking comfortable I’m not even fabricating. They are made so well that you don’t have to replace them all the time either. Great quality. Great design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the CrossFit shoe for me I've had my Metcon 4 XDs for about a month and I couldn't be happier. After trying the Nano, NoBull, and NoBull canvas, I finally found my shoe. The fit is perfect for my slightly but not too narrow foot, and they are comfortable for all CrossFit activities. I had read that Metcons are too stiff for running, but I feel that they are better than the others I mentioned above, at least up to 1 mile. Stability for lifting, jumping, etc. is great. I'm very happy so far. Like most Nike shoes they run slightly small - I wear a 10 to 10.5 in most shoes and definitely need the 10.5 in these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lite and ready for the gym I am glad I like the metcons but this is lite t and fast and when lifting heavy it does not do well the sole is to lite to squat heavy in it hurts my arch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality! I bought this pair of Nike Metcon 4’s about a month ago. They fit perfectly not to tight nor loose. They have very great traction on the ground for when I’m squatting or doing any sort of activity. The quality is worth the money. The only downside I had with this pair is that the color when I got it looked a lot more pink than red like in the picture. Besides that I love them!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Last Chance Metcon I bought these mostly to wear coaching classes and for styling of the shoe. I've never been to impressed with the performance and fit of the Metcon series. This shoe is no different and will be my last pair. The styling is usually on point as were these but didn't work for me wearing for long days of coaching. They have a very hard flat surface with very little support for anyone with some sort of arch to their foot. They may work for a flat foot though. Feet stay very hot and I work and coach in an air conditioned building. laces will not stay tied unless double knotted. Overall review - not for me! My feet hurt within a couple hours of wearing. It's way more comfortable to go barefoot.
