Pollen / Black / Volt Pale Coral
The Nike Metcon 7X is the new gold standard in weight training, built even tougher and more dynamically than previous models. Available here in a special Games Colorway (Pollen / Black / Volt Pale Coral), the new design includes React foam for optimal comfort and lock-down lace tabs to prevent untying during high-intensity training. The shoe’s wide, flat, and flexible heel also now comes with an inner plate that distributes weight from edge to edge for improved stability, while revamped rubber wraps along the arch offer better traction on rope climbs.
Breathability remains paramount with this model, too, as the Metcon 7’s lightweight mesh and strategically textured overlays keep your feet cool without sacrificing durability. Rubber tread on the outsole and up the side of the shoe provides directional traction from the training room floor to the pavement, and flywire cables integrate with the laces to secure the midfoot.

Nike Metcon 7 AMP (Enigma)
Was a little worried when I received my order. Opened the outer plastic and seen that the shoe box was crushed. Prayed the shoes were ok (didn’t want to deal with return process), shoes were good and I am pleased. These are my 2nd pair of Metcons, my first being the 8’s. So, I’m working my way backwards in comparison. First thing I noticed was shoe was a bit softer and more round at the toe box. I love the “Enigma” colorway which reminds me of the ocean waves. I primarily wanted these for jumping rope and days at the gym.

Hits the mark
I’ve been wearing these shoes for CrossFit for about 8 months now and I love them for everything but running.
I’ve tried all the “CrossFit” shoes and by far Metcons are the best for me - the fit, the stability, and the versatility are excellent. Mine have also held up extremely well. I had a defect with the first pair after wearing them a few weeks and Nike replaced them no muss no fuss. The replacements still look new.
The only drawback for me is the heel clip - it’s a rigid plastic that extends quite a ways into the shoes and it makes running in them awful. Not a big deal for short duration runs but if I see anything more than a couple of 200m runs on the board i’ll wear different shoes.

Terrible
Bought these after reading supposed great reviews on these… Personally these are the worst shoes I’ve ever owed…. They feel like you’re standing on concrete during your entire workout… I would not recommend for running though that’s not what these shoes are for anyway… But even just wearing them to lift and around the gym they are incredibly uncomfortable

Best CrossFit Shoe I ever owned-bt not saying much
After 11 years of CrossFit, this shoe sort of fits my foot. Its the closest I have found so far. I have wide feet but there are no wide sized CrossFit shoes that are worth a cr#p. I bought a half size bigger and it sort of works. I like the velcro shoe lace tie-down. In the open once, my shoe laces came untied on the last set of double unders. I lost 45 seconds. The rope-climb grips are excellent. As I understand it, the shoe lace tie-downs are gone from the metcon 8s. As usual, thanks for nothing Nike. I will try Nobull next. I prefer to NOT buy anything from Nike. And the Nobull shoes look like they could also, sort of, fit my feet.

Had to return them...
These are probably great shoes for most people, but I experienced too much heel slip with these that I could not eliminate with lacing changes.

Cool Colors good for gym not running
Not the best all around sneaker that I will hope for what's still wet to the gym my favorite sneakers are new new balance tr boa The lacing system is the best out there everyone should follow suit
