Rogue Adjustable Monolift – Monster Lite

The Rogue Adjustable Monolift attachment is a great cost-efficient alternative to expensive, full-scale monolift units, giving athletes a way to perform heavy-weight squats and other lifts without having to walk the bar out from the rack.

Sold in pairs, this version of the Monolift system is designed for use with 3x3" Monster Lite racks and rigs, but can also be easily retro-fitted for the 2x3" Infinity Series. Once set up, the Monolift's redesigned, J-Cup-style pin system allows for easier height adjustments and quicker transfers from one athlete to the next. We’ve also reduced the overall size of the brackets and added new UHMW plastic liners to better protect the bar’s knurl and finish.

Each Adjustable Monolift set includes a pair of rack-mounted brackets with 0.75" thick steel jaw hooks. These hooks are built with special counterweight handles at the top, so when you lift a barbell off the Monolift, the hooks will swing several inches back toward the rack and stay there. This clears up enough extra space to go straight into your workout, and also enables safe re-racking, as the slanted angle of the unloaded hooks makes it easy to guide the bar in, swinging the Monolift back into its original position. A pair of 0.625" hitch pins is also included in every order to lock the unit into place and prevent any unwanted swinging out.

Height adjustments can be made in increments as small as 1", and with Rogue’s unique design—featuring a “backstop” bolt above each primary hook bolt—the Monolift cannot move further away from the rack while the user is setting up. This feature is not found on comparable attachments on the market.

Please Note: While the Rogue Monolift Attachment can be safe for solo use, it’s always recommended to have spotters available for heavier lifts. Rogue also highly recommends mounting the Monolift to a rack or rig that’s securely fastened to the floor and/or wall.

*Infinity Series Retro-Fit Kit: Owners of an Infinity rig or rack can add this kit to their order via the column on the right. It includes 4 UHMW plastic pieces and 8 screws to secure the plastic to the clasp of each unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome These work great on my SML1. Sure they were a bit expensive, but no more pain benching and safer squats make it well worth it. They are easy to move around and need to be completely removed for OHP. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more handoffs I’m such a Rogue junkie and wanted these for sooo long. But thanks to a Christmas gift card, I finally made it happened. I was very surprised when it showed up on my driveway w/in a week as a I was expecting “14-30 days”. It took me a couple workouts to figure out the right placement and how to accurately and quickly line up the holes. For me, these totally justify their worth while benching. Having the bar positioned at the top of my groove instead of having to reach back 3-4” really helps me be more stable, safe, and efficient. If you’re benching heavy alone, pair them up with spotter arms or safety straps, and you’ll thank yourself for getting these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very solid construction, helps with training. My coach recommended this as I was upgrading to a new rack from Rogue as well. Bar is already in position when you unrack so it is much less awkward on bench and no walk out needed on squats. I wish it would swing more for the squat, as if you get forward and off balance a bit you could ram your hand into the bottom of the hook on ascent which is very painful. They are also pretty heavy so my wife can’t really adjust them up and down the rack easily. But way cheaper and more discreet than the alternative. I’ve seen people take the top bolts out for extra travel but honestly it doesn’t look like there is a constructive reason for that myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How’d I live without it Love this thing. I was dissapointed how long it took to deliver it, ordered in beginning on November just received this week. Well worth the wait to be honest. This thing is solid and works amazing for bench press and squats. Like many others have stated each arm is heavy so it’s a little awkward to adjust depending on what excercise it’s being used for but it’s worth it. Money well spent. Only used today on squats so can’t say much on longevity but as with all the rogue equipment I’ve purchased quality is top notch. One last thing is they recommend that you only use on a rack that’s bolted down but I have the SML-2C rack and no issues so far. I can’t bolt down to my floor due to radiant floor heating. If it becomes a concern later I’ll just add weights to the back side of the rack but so far I see no issues with safety of tipping. Maybe guys moving sone serious weights might want to take this into consideration but so far I’m happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For bench press....awesome! To qualify myself, low 40s guy who just got his first rack a couple months back but had a bench and dumbbells before, in the bench more than squat club. I debated a while about these....My old man self was benching reps of about 225 and my shoulder pain was getting unbearable. I was stretching and trying to loosen up, am no doctor but it seemed like a rotator as it would burn at night and couldn't sleep on it. I took about 2 months off of lifting due to a move, and set up a RML-690 in the new place and got these with it. I searched a lot for reviews, a lot of people using for squats but I was more concerned if they would really help with my shoulders. About 2 months in, I am benching more weight with ZERO shoulder pain. One trip to the doctor would have cost more than these things did....Took a bit to get used as I never tried something like them before, but I basically get in position, rock the bar all the way to the back until its above my eyes to verify I'm in the right spot, let it rotate forward on its own above my chest and then lift. So yes, for someone like me these are great...have grown to love them in a short amount of time. Haven't tried them for squats as I leave these on one side on the cups on the other. That was also part of the reason I bought them...another set of cups was around 100 bucks anyways to not have to move them around, so for 200 more I could try these and never move them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I had been intrigued by the Monolift for a while and has exceeded my expectations. My only wish is that the red portion came in a different color to match my rack (but Rogue confirmed that it can be painted effectively so no problem) :). Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my RML-3W I bought this a few months ago to upgrade my standard J-cups on my RML-3W. I lift alone a lot and with recent back surgery, I wanted something to make it easier to unrack my barbell for squats and bench press. This is the perfect addition to go along with my rack and safety spotter arms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elbow Relief This piece of equipment was the last thing I needed to cut the cord from a commercial gym, which has benches with quasi-monolift arms. I can now set my bench position super tight, unrack the bar straight up, and bench away. My elbows killed me when unracking heavier weights from regular j-cups. This monolift is also very easy to remove when needed - just be careful not to pinch your fingers. This is a great piece of equipment!
