The updated design of Rogue’s Monster Safety Strap Hangers makes them even easier to adjust, with full compatibility across all Monster Series racks and rigs.
The Monster Strap Safety System 2.0 features a 3" Wide Reinforced Nylon, safety-rated for 10,000LB. Each adjustable strap is secured to a set of brackets, which are manufactured from 0.3125" thick steel and equipped with a 1" diameter pin. As an advantage over standard pin/pipe and flip-down safety systems, the front and back ends of the strap hangers can be mounted at different heights. This provides the option of positioning the strap at an uneven angle-- forcing a dropped bar to roll safely away from an athlete on a missed lift. The nylon material of the strap is also more forgiving on a bar than a steel alternative.

Scratches things up
Works well but scratches things up. My screws holding the liner weren’t fully set and scratched my rack up pretty good. If you get a quality set this is an excellent product

We're sorry for the issues with your Monster Strap Safeties. Upon investigation, our team has a new pair ready for you now.
Inner plastic lining was not screwed correctly
So I bought these for the PR5000v2 rack and they are a bit lose, but not enough to be an issue. The 2 stars is for a screw not being screwed all the way in on the inner liner of the brackets. I didn’t noticed and it scratched my rack pretty bad. So I paid over $250 to just damage my beautiful rack. I primarily got these because the REP have too much slack.

Not Great
The design of these straps make it so that it can't come off the rack without removing a bolt, which gets in the way of other attachments such as lever arms. Additionally there is very little slack in the strap itself, which makes it impossible to make large adjustments without pausing to adjust the other side.

Awesome safety straps
These straps are the way to go! Much easier to adjust than the pipe and pin system which were both heavy and more challenging to align. Wish I had made the upgrade with the initial order.

Works on a PR5KV2 Rack!
Bought it due to my rack not having any straps in stock at the time. These fit perfectly. Loaded and dropped about 600LB without problems.

I have friends who have this system and I love using it in coaching as well as my own training. Unfortunately my Rogue Rack is 2x3 and was unable to use with my rack!!!

Great straps, crappy bolt system
Watch the YouTube video about how these straps are limited by the bolts and nuts it came with. The Clovis pins from Home Depot make this a much better accessory.
