Rogue Rubber Medicine Balls

Rogue’s Rubber Medicine Balls offer a great complement to our standard vinyl-coated Medballs, as the firm, springy exterior shell in this design opens up a range of new training movements, including ball slams with convenient bounceback, lateral throws against a wall, and back-and-forth bounces with a partner for strength and stamina development.

Available in nine weight increments for gradual progression (from 6 LB up to 30 LB), Rogue Rubber Medballs are all uniform in their weight distribution and equipped with a tread-pattern rubber outer for a steady grip even when your hands are sweaty. Aside from bouncing, they also function as stand-ins for dumbbells or kettlebells during squats and sit-ups, or as tools for balance and coordination exercises and rehab work.

Approved for the new Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)

The 10LB Rubber Medicine Ball has been officially approved for use with the United States Army’s Combat Fitness Test, a 6-event readiness assessment that’s replacing the previous 3-event Army Physical Fitness Test in 2020. The grueling new ACFT is neutral across all genders and age groups, and includes a strength deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint/drag/carry, leg tuck, and a 2-mile run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue is #1 Will only buy equipment from Rogue after my purchase - wonderful quality and fast shipping. All the best to a great company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 18 pound easily bounces. The first time one goes to slam the 18 pound ball and it flys back head height at velocity, one rethinks the ball’s use. 18 pound ball is not for slamming unless a person wants to catch the ball overhead. Quality overall but 18# not designed for slamming. Between, echo slam, this ball, and d-ball. D-ball is clearly my favorite. Solid unlike the echo slam. And slammable, unlike this ball or a regular med-ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made, looks good Bought these with a few core movements in mind. Have since expanded use for multiple body weight movements. Fun to use, well made, looks great, easy to clean!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to grip Was disappointed in the feel/grip ability of this ball. It has a slick feel to it, which makes for zero grip. It’s also very large in diameter, which adds to the problem. I have been unable to use it, and intend to contact Rogue customer service about a return/exchange or refund. I love Rogue gear and the clothing line, and was bummed out this piece of gear didn’t work for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Rouge Med Ball We bought this about two months ago after the COVID-19 outbreak when the gyms closed down. we have used it for mostly ab work but also the wife uses it for slam balls. They are fairly springy so watch your face if youre going to use it for this purpose. The dog also seems to love the chase this thing around the gym as well. Made of extremely durable material. When it first arrives it does give off a bit of a smell of chemicals and plastic but after a few uses it seems to go completely away. Additionally it does show up pretty slick. I rubbed it down with a little chalk and after a few uses it seems to be a nice tacky and normal rubber feel but straight out of the box it does need a few workouts of blood sweat and tears to get that right texture you are used to in most other gyms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition Amazing addition to my core / circuit workout. The texture feels great although when I received it the ball had a greasy feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase. Worth it. I bought this item a couple months ago and it has been awesome. Rogue always has the highest quality equipment and that is what you get here. I also plan on using it to train for the Army's new ACFT SPT event, which the 10lb ball is approved for (as stated in the description).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not perform like smaller version Smaller version of item has a bounce ability which keeps a fluid motion for upper body training. Good quality of product.
