Rogue Vertical Plate Storage

Designed for use exclusively with Rogue’s Infinity Series racks and squat stands*, each one of these durable 13” storage pins can hold over 180LB of bumpers or cast iron plates. Simply mount the Vertical Plate Storage channel to any 2" x 3” Infinity upright using the provided detent pin and you’re good to go. The pin set-up also makes it easy to quickly remove a storage post or change its position at your convenience.

Rogue Vertical Plate Storage is available to order as a single or double unit.

Single Plate Storage: (1) 13 long, 7 Gauge Steel pin with 180LB+ storage capacity.

Double Plate Storage: (2) Connected 13 long, 7-gauge steel pins with 360LB+ storage capacity.
Important: Due to its larger size, the Double Plate Storage unit can limit the range where J-cups can be adjusted. For this reason, we recommend using two separate Single Plate Storage pins if you’re adding storage to a power rack of squat stand.

*Vertical Plate Storage is NOT recommended to be used with the S-1 or S-4 Squat Stands, but it IS compatible with the S-2 and S-3 stands.

Stick with single plate storage for infinity rack
Just reiterating the frustration with the double plate storage and my own lack of attention to detail. I purchased two and immediately regretted doing so upon installation. I cannot put them on the bottom of the rack because the safety pins are now too high (for me to bench press) and I cannot put them on the top of the uprights because the rack feels top heavy (not great for ring work or pull-ups) and the idea of plates being too high seems generally unsafe (especially with my kids in the garage gym). While none of these issues are Rogue's fault or doing, it is still frustrating. So, I am left with three options since I cannot return: 1. Drill holes into the side of the sleeve so my safety pins will fit through. - Hopefully I'll be precise enough. Probably not, though. 2. Buy another upright and attach that to the wall. 3. Cut the two doubles into 4 singles and buy another safety pin. Most likely I'll be doing this since it seems to be the most forgiving method. And I can put the weight on the bottom quarter of the upright. Ultimately, the quality of the product is not bad but the design is not ideal for my R3 rack. I also don't understand why there was only one pin provided with the the double plate storage sleeve with TWO holes to hold it in place. I solved this by using band pegs in the bottom two holes and the provided pins in the top two.

Don’t buy double rack
Rogue should stop making the double rack storage or add holes to the double rack sleeve. I bought them impulsively without reading the full description and reviews and now regret it. Cannot use safety pins for any bench press without taking the weights and storage rack off. Just sell the singles.

Awesome
Well made and very rugged. I attached these to a wall instead of the cage and they have worked out well for us. Highly recommended! CAUTION: Double check to be certain that it is compatible with your cage/rack!

Quality control
Purchase 11/25/2023 monster lite plates storage. The pins will not go through on the frame completely which is a quality control and unsafe problem.

Double Plate Storage is a Dumb Design
I bought the double plate storage. You can't even do flat or incline with the plates on the storage because they get in the way. So you get to take off the plates before doing exercises. It's super convenient. It only comes with one pin even though the bottom has a pinhole, it just kind of flaps around on the bottom. Do yourself a favor and buy two of the single plate storage instead of the double one. I would have returned it but I threw away the box and they seem pretty adamant about that.

Sturdy, may not fit other manufacturer's racks
Very sturdy and well built. Just for the world to know, this does not fit a 2x3 Fringesport squat rack. The two companies have different ideas about what a 5/8" hole looks like. Managed to get it to "fit" by just getting carriage bolts from Home Depot. Not worth returning, due to shipping costs.

Should have gotten a plate tree instead
Have S-2 Squat Stand and these get in the way constantly. I'm 5'2" so where I need the J-cups for squats the bumpers get in the way, so I have to strip the top post of bumpers before I can load the bar. Also can't bench with this. I'd think about getting the HR-2 Conversion but I feel like I'm going to run into the same problem with the bumpers getting in the way. So if you're on the shorter end of things or want to bench & have a squat stand - just get the separate Vertical Plate Tree storage instead.
