Dirty South Bar

Compatible with any Rogue Infinity or Monster Lite rig/rack, the Dirty South Bar can replace an existing X-70 or X-43 crossmember, creating a convenient, multi-height pull-up bar in its place. This added versatility is perfect for gyms where multiple athletes of different sizes are using the same equipment.

The 70” Dirty South Bar and 43” Dirty South Shorty are manufactured in Columbus, Ohio with US steel, and feature a pair of 1.25" diameter bars with grip-friendly, black powder coat finishes. The triangular design of the unit allows athletes to work from the low or high position bar.

Please Note: Rogue does not recommend the Dirty South Bar for muscle-ups.

Want one for my Monster rack
Used this at a CrossFit box a while back, wish I could get one for my Monster rack, might get one anyway and enlarge the holes to work, unless Rogue wants to start making them...

Any gym w/ multiple users will benefit
Subbed this for a regular bar on my Infinity Wall Mount so my kids and wife could access one height, me the other. Three of us can pull at a time on this setup. Not a single regret purchasing this bar.

Works for me
Put this on my S2 stand and with me being only 5'5 this works perfect for me. This bar allows me to superset squatting or pressing exercises with pull-ups.

Great option for affiliate outfitting
This was a no-brainer addition to our USMC rig. It gives us the option for bar muscle ups as well as two fast pull-up height options, not to mention it stands out big time over the standard X-70 crossmember. More of these to come when we add on.

No hand shredding here
I have to disagree with the previous review... and I was quite worried about the finish because of that review, but decided to sub the dirty south shorty on the S-3 rack anyway. So glad I did! Fact is, shredded hands are a known side effect of kipping pullups. Just check out the xfit boards for all the ideas folks have on how to prevent and treat them. Yes, you should use chalk, but that's just a given when you're kipping in a metcon (or anytime, IMHO). I've shredded my hands on bars before, but not on this one. The diameter creates the right amount of surface area for gripping without needlessly taxing your forearms, and with chalk you won't slip on this finish until you're too tired to maintain a grip or you do it purposely (say at the apex of the kip to complete the full movement, when your body weight is suspended and mostly off your hands). I'm good at kips, but I'm no elite athlete (and I sweat a lot). This pullup bar is by far the best I've ever laid hands on.
