Monster Lite Hip Thruster Bench

This version of the Rogue Hip Thruster Bench is designed exclusively for set-up within the 43” space of a Monster Lite rack or rig. It ships fully assembled and includes a pair of 5/8” detent pins for easy installation. (For owners of a Monster Series unit, see the Monster Hip Thruster Bench).

The Monster Lite Hip Thruster Bench is a padded crossmember attachment that gives athletes a stable, comfortable, and space-efficient platform for performing hip thrusts. Each unit is constructed from a 2x4" 11-gauge steel tube that's welded to 5/16" thick formed end plates. Around the tube is a U-shaped, vinyl-covered pad that measures 2.25" thick on the top and 1.5" thick on the sides—offering additional protection from contact with any hard steel surfaces as you train.

Key Features of the Monster Lite Hip Thruster Bench

  • 1Designed Specifically for Hip Thrusts

As an increasingly popular lower body strength training exercise, the hip thrust has been proven effective for developing the glutes (as well as the hamstrings and quads) with far less loading on the spine than traditional barbell squats. This also makes it an excellent option for rehabilitation work. In the movement, the barbell is placed across the hips as the athlete sits on the floor. With each upward thrust of the hips, the shoulders also elevate and level out, which is where the Monster Lite Hip Thruster Bench comes in—providing leverage and padded protection through each rep.

  • 2Easy Set-Up in Monster Lite Rack/Rig

Compatible exclusively with the 43” space of Rogue Monster Lite units, this version of the Hip Thruster Bench offers space efficiency and convenience for any size gym, as the attachment ships fully assembled, with simple installation and takedown as you move through a regimen. The bench features formed channels on each end that can be secured to the uprights using the provided pair of 5/8" detent pins.

  • 3Quality Rogue Construction

Each Hip Thruster Bench is manufactured in the USA using a 2x 4" 11-gauge steel tube welded to 5/16" thick formed end plates with a MG Black powdercoat finish. Around the tube is a U-shaped, vinyl-covered pad that measures 2.25" thick on the top and 1.5" thick on the sides—protecting the back from contact with any hard steel surfaces as you train. The pad is 41” long in total and 7” deep. The entire HTB attachment weighs in at approx. 32 LBS.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would love to see Rogue release v2.0 of this I have the same problems using this as other reviewers. I don't have experience with the Monster version but the ML version in my ML rack is not getting any use and will probably be put in the recycling bin. Rather surprising as everything else I have from Rogue is great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scratches Rack paint off It’s so awkward to put on the rack and will scratch up your equipment. Not easy to install at all. If you get a foldable rack, don’t buy it. It will sit way to high because of the mounting bolts on the rack. It’s useless to me and it’s collecting dust in the corner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pins on both sides are a bad design Unlike the Monster version of this bench, both sides require the quick release pins, so you've got to somehow balance the thing in the middle of the rack while trying to push in the pins on either side. The rack gets banged up, and the holes drilled are super hard to line up, so it's definitely a two person job. And my brand new rack is all scratched up now. Thanks Rogue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this My husband bought this for me and it’s a game charger..heavy but manageable to attach alone! I love that I don’t have to worry now a bench falling over when doing thrusters!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Promising design but several flaws I just got this in and while the photos and description make it seem easy to setup and takedown it’s anything but. It’s borderline a two person job (I’m a large guy and had trouble- there’s no way my girlfriend can install this on her own) and the bench attachment scratched up the rack immediately when trying to balance the attachment with one hand and trying to line up the holes to eventually shove the pins in that barely fit. Once installed it works as advertised but had I known the difficulty and damage it would cause I would have taken a hard pass.
