Designed Specifically for Hip Thrusts

As an increasingly popular lower body strength training exercise, the hip thrust has been proven effective for developing the glutes (as well as the hamstrings and quads) with far less loading on the spine than traditional barbell squats. This also makes it an excellent option for rehabilitation work. In the movement, the barbell is placed across the hips as the athlete sits on the floor. With each upward thrust of the hips, the shoulders also elevate and level out, which is where the Monster Lite Hip Thruster Bench comes in—providing leverage and padded protection through each rep.

2

Easy Set-Up in Monster Lite Rack/Rig

Compatible exclusively with the 43” space of Rogue Monster Lite units, this version of the Hip Thruster Bench offers space efficiency and convenience for any size gym, as the attachment ships fully assembled, with simple installation and takedown as you move through a regimen. The bench features formed channels on each end that can be secured to the uprights using the provided pair of 5/8" detent pins.

3

Quality Rogue Construction

Each Hip Thruster Bench is manufactured in the USA using a 2x 4" 11-gauge steel tube welded to 5/16" thick formed end plates with a MG Black powdercoat finish. Around the tube is a U-shaped, vinyl-covered pad that measures 2.25" thick on the top and 1.5" thick on the sides—protecting the back from contact with any hard steel surfaces as you train. The pad is 41” long in total and 7” deep. The entire HTB attachment weighs in at approx. 32 LBS.

Difficult assembly
Why does Rogue utilize the pin-swivel assembly system that they use for the j-cups or the adjustable pull-up bar for the uprights? This could make this bench assembly easy and take 30sec vs virtually impossible when you're by yourself (at least me).

Real painful setup
I have the SML-1 Monster Lite Squat Rack which works great and is built to last, really a fine piece of equipment. I bought the Monster Lite Hip Thruster bench recently to add on to my squat rack and it is a b**** to attach and un-attach. The u-bracket on each side of the hip thruster bench does not sit well around the vertical squat rack tubes and the holes do not line up. Takes a lot of elbow grease to get the pins in but when it is setup, it works great. In order to squat/bench you need to un-attach the hip thruster bench each time so be prepared for 10minutes of set-up and banging the hip thruster into place. Love the Rogue equipment but I wish the add on components were easier to install.

Awesome piece for home gym
My home gym is 10’ x 10’, so I don’t have space for GHD or anything really except my Monster Lite rack. So, this thruster bar has been a game changer for my glute work! Easy to attach/detach after a little practice.

Very well built, awkward setup.
I've had this for around a year and it's still looks brand new. This thing is BEEFY! Very well built. Several reviews have mentioned how difficult it can be to set this up and they're not wrong. The fact that it has to be held in place while you line up the holes and push the pin through is a severe oversight. Most of the time I don't bother setting it up and just use a flat bench. My wife can't set it up by herself when she wants to use it. My recommendation to anyone looking to purchase this is unless you intend to mount it permanently to a rack; avoid it until it can be redesigned. My recommendation to rogue is to have it built much like the safety arms where it mounts on its own pin swings down and is then pinned into place.

Not the best for RML fold back Racks
Depending on where you mount the stringers, you may end up with a 20” hip thrust bench. You really can’t get more than just one placement that will work for a

Well built
I got it for my wife. She says it’s hard to setup and insert the pins. Very strong and works well though. Awkward to store if not set up.

Mounts higher than a standard flat bench
Poor design. Due to the location of crossbar supports on the Monster Lite power racks, the top of this item when mounted is higher than a standard flat bench. This defeats the purpose of buying a dedicated bench for hip thrusts, except for extremely tall people. I am 6’2” and it did not work for me.
