Available here in an exclusive 3X White colorway, the R.A.D. One is a unisex training shoe designed in Portland, Oregon, and geared toward the needs of the all-terrain, high-motor athlete.
The R.A.D. One is produced in small production runs with quality materials and green principles in mind. Each shoe is cushioned for plyometrics, stabilized for weightlifting, durable enough for rope climbs, lightweight enough for gymnastics, and fine-tuned for the grind of everyday training or high intensity competitions. Better still, they’re equally suitable as casual wear, with a comfortable fit and feel that seamlessly transitions from the gym to the street.
R.A.D. (“Rally Against Destruction”) is a small, independent shoe company founded by a competitive CrossFit athlete and an experienced athletic shoe designer. Together, they have developed a light springy EVA midsole for the R.A.D. ONE called Swell Foam™, which is partly made from sugarcane (currently 30%), reducing the reliance on traditional, fossil-based materials in the shoe’s construction.

Poor quality Overpriced
I bought 2 pairs and within 10 weeks the pair I worked out in most was tattered. Material in the shoe once they were broken in started to dig into my foot near the toes. $150 is outrageous for a newer start up company.

Too Stiff
These shoes are way too stiff. It feels like I’m wearing bricks on my feet. They are impossible to run in. Do not buy.

Great fit and versatility
Great for casual lifting, runs, metcons, rower/bike, etc. true to size for me (but I’d still be comfortable if I went .5 sizes higher). Love these shoes - look great with high socks too

Amazing!
Had never bought a pair of shoes from R.A.D. before but have been eyeing for awhile. So glad I ordered a pair! They’re super comfortable and fit perfectly. They feel sturdy and I have enjoyed benching with them because they provide a solid, stable base for leg drive. They’re on the heavier side but not as heavy as Nanos. Definitely heavier than Metcons and Nobull trainers, hence having more stability for pressing movements (OHP, bench). Order a half size up as they run small. I’m a 9 women’s normally and a 9.5 women’s fit me exactly right. Highly recommend these shoes!

Somewhere between NOBULL’s and Nanos
Like the title. More drop than a NOBULL, but still feels flat, which I prefer. I usually put on Nanos for anything with a lot of jumping or running in a workout, but these feel like a good middle ground.

True to Size and Comfortable
I bought this 3X White a month ago and I'm really impressed with the comfortable in each training (for running there are comfortable too). I'm 9.5 in Metcons 4,5 and 7 and these R.A.D are true to size! For me and mi foot (I've wide foot) there was no reason to order a 10 or 10.5. I recommend you orden the size you are in Metcons (I don't have Nanos).
