What Sets the Echo Bar Apart:

  • 1Budget Price, Same Quality

The Echo Bar—just like our flagship 28.5MM Ohio Bar—is constructed from 190,000 PSI tensile strength steel, with quality bronze bushings that act as bearing surfaces between the bar sleeve and shaft. A bright zinc finish across the entirety of the bar finishes the look.

  • 2Updated Snap Ring Construction

Brand new for Version 2.0 of the Echo Bar is a fully upgraded snap-ring construction, battle-tested to maintain optimal stability throughout any type of high-intensity Olympic movement. This, again, is the exact same construction used in the Rogue Ohio Bar. We have also included new Echo exclusive endcaps for this re-design, a feature not found with the original model.

  • 3Machining - Knurl

The Echo Bar includes single, IWF standard Olympic knurl marks (there are no powerlifting marks and no center knurl) in an consistent, non-abrasive pattern. Every bar shaft is machined in Columbus, Ohio, and treated with artistic precision.

  • 4Part of the Rogue Echo Series

Rogue manufactures a wide range of other quality, economically priced equipment under the Echo Series, including our Echo Power Racks, Echo Squat Stands, Echo LB Bumper Plates, and more.

  • 5Performance

Despite its friendly price tag, the Echo Bar is up to the demands of high-performance, competitive Oly lifting. The 20KG bar will produce a consistent spin and “whip” during any traditional Olympic movement, and the durability of its construction is backed by a one-year warranty.*

  • 6Fast Rogue Shipping

Orders placed by 3PM ship the same day. The Rogue Shipping System allows you to track your order from the time you place it to the time it hits your door. Order today, track today.

F Scale™
The F Scale™ is a durability scale for barbells based on functional testing at stresses similar to what barbells experience when being dropped from overhead. Bars that have been treated with Rogue Work Hardening (RWH™) are designated by having an R in their F Rating™. For more information on F Scale™ click here.

Oxidation Rate
The resistance of a barbell to oxidation depends on the type of steel and the coating. Barbells at the lower end of the spectrum will require more care and maintenance to preserve their appearance than barbells at the upper end of the spectrum.

*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Rogue product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Debated for several years on getting my own bar and weights, worth the money and convenience of having at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around bar I bought this bar about a week ago and it is amazing. I bought this product because I had gotten the rogue deep dish plates for x-mas and one of the sleeves on my old bar was too big. I love the finish on the bar and the sleeve have like lines on it to help them stick which sounds amazing when sliding plates on. All around great bar for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine bar, worth the money I've had this bar for six months now and it has served me well. The knurling is a bit passive but it hasn't caused any trouble with my lifts. I've found no issues with rust so far, I oiled this only once since I've had it and I keep it in the garage in California. If you don't want to spend the extra money for the Ohio bar and still want a decent bar I suggest you check this one out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice bar, needs regular maintenance I bought this bar about 8 months ago, it's a nice bar and works well and has decent knurling for an all purpose bar, is very solid. It does seem to rust much faster than any of my other bars which seems unusual as the others don't rust nearly as fast. For the price you can't beat this bar just oil and lube it at least 2-3x per month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for. A workhorse. I bought the Echo Bar 2.0 for my new garage gym. It’s the first barbell I’ve ever owned, but not the first I’ve used having gone to may CF boxes over the years. This is comparable to any barbell I’ve ever used before. Is it a multicolor beautiful work of art?. No. That wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted something reliable. Utilitarian. Functional. Well built. I’ve only used it for a few weeks and I can tell you it is all of those things, all while still not breaking the bank compared to other quality barbells. If you are looking for a workhorse barbell, this is it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic bar and well worth the money Bought the boneyard ohio bar 1.2 and it has been amazing and much better than the bar that came with my 300lb set from a competitor. I was a little suspicious if the bar was better but it came in a very strong package and the UPS guy was more than happy to discuss this product, the quality and that he also needs to use his. I didn't wait to use mine and it should last for many years to come. As a disabled weightlifter with Cerebral Palsy, I know how much quality equipment will benefit a workout and I have powerlifted for over 15 years, these bars will not let you down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bar made in the USA I purchased the Rogue Echo Bar in May. It had some cosmetic damage at the end of the bar which appeared to be from shipping. I was disappointed that it was chipped at the ends. I contacted Rogue and discussed my options and I chose to keep the bar as it was cosmetic and did not impact performance. The bar has a really good feel to it, and it does not scratch my shins during dead lifts. The bar works great with my Rogue US-Mil Spec bumpers. I do some Oly lifts but I do not drop from above waist height. The bar is solid and the only reason I did not give five stars is due to the spots on the bar that have appeared after many workouts. I have not researched how to remove the spots, which are cosmetic. I also purchased the oil and brush, which help make sure the bar is protected and not rusting, as my bar and plates are stored in my garage in the four seasons of Virginia weather. If I was to buy another bar, I would probably purchase the Ohio Bar with the black oxide coating or a better coating to help hide the wear on the bar. I would still buy this bar over anything being manufactured outside the USA.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Prone to Rust I oiled it on a monthly (if not weekly) basis. The bar is very vulnerable to oxidation. Aside from the the altered aesthetics, it get the job done. The knurling is very passive, so if you're doing heavy lifting, you might want to chalk up or use wraps.
